I have been in the pool business for over twenty years and am blessed by the opportunity the industry has granted my wife and I to create relationships with the people of Knoxville, TN. Kim grew up in Nashville as the daughter of a pool builder, so she has been in the pool business her entire life.
I met Kim in college as I was working on my degree in mechanical engineering, and I fell in love with her (of course). When summer came around she suggested that I work for her father. He worked me like a dog, probably to see what I was made of, but in the end it paid off because I learned a great deal about the pool business, and about what it takes to run a company in this industry.

Gunite pools can be built in any free-form shape you want. We offer state of the art designs, features and construction. This type of pool lends itself to adding waterfalls, vanishing edges, and other built-in structures. We use several different computer programs to help design, visualize, analyze help calculate costs to give you an accurate price and a pool that will stand up through time.
A Concrete Pool has to be formed and created from the ground up, unlike vinyl or composite pools which are prefabricated structures. After forming the pool, we begin to plumb in the hydraulic system of the pool; skimmers, main drains, return fittings, ect. Once the hydraulics are in place a layer of gunite is applied forming the basic shell of the swimming pool.
Fiberglass pools are a growing trend in the pool industry that Pro Pools initially avoided, but over the years we have seen the quality and cost effectiveness of these pools improve dramatically. Pools that we once found ourselves replacing and fixing often, were now proving to become reliable and beautiful options for our customers.

Marble aggregates are easily dissolved by pool chemicals causing unsightly etching and rapid deterioration. Diamond Brite's insoluble quartz aggregate is unaffected by the harshest pool chemicals and resists permanent staining.

I switched to Pro Pools about 6 years ago after dissatisfaction from another company. They have consistently been available via email or phone call, and respond quickly to my service needs. On occasion, I will call a troubleshoot a problem I can handle on my own. Jason, Kim and team are a pleasure to work with, thank you!
