Sunset Flowerland & Greenhouses has been in the Ellis Family since the early 1800s. Previous generations had Short Horn Cattle, an apple orchard, a farm stand, sheep, and chickens. The greenhouse were started in 1952 by Richard and Floralie Ellis. Since then, we have grown from one greenhouse to 21 greenhouses with a wide variety of trees and shrubs, along with a garden center full of perennials.
In addition to the greenhouses, a flower shop and gift shop were built in 1972. In the late 90s, two of Richard and Floralie's children, Kenneth Ellis and Catherine Hebert, took over operations, becoming the seventh generation to continue agricultural farming on this property.

Bring in your over-grown plant and we will help you choose a pot that best suits your plant and your space. Every garden is different and we understand each site will require its own set of skills and tools. Our team can adapt with the size of your project to help you get the most accomplished in one planting. We can supply tools-large and small-and a team of one to four people. Labor clock begins when our loaded vehicle(s) leave our premises and ends when we leave the planting site.

From Succulents to Tropical trees, there is a perfect plant for nearly every home condition and decor. Starter plants in 3 pots (from $3.99 and up) can be combined and will grow into its new home, or choose a more established plant for an instant, dramatic impact.

A Beautiful place to check out just about any type of plant your looking for, not just outdoor and garden plants but indoor plants as well. Plants there are gorgeous and well taken care of..they are absolutely stunning. Staff is very friendly and eager to help if you questions. Absolutely Love this place. A must see for sure! <3

Stopped by on my way home thanks to a nice lady at Home Depot’s recommendation. I was not disappointed at all. This place has LOADS of houseplants, and they’re all taken great care of. Tons of pot options as well! If you’re into houseplants I definitely recommend this place!! Will for sure be going here for more plants in the future! Great prices (comparable with Home Depot/Lowe’s/Walmart) and wide selection, and I’d prefer to go here over those other places because I am supporting a smaller, loca business! Staff are also friendly and helpful!

Love this place! A friend gave us a gift card a couple years ago and it sat in the kitchen drawer forgotten until last week. We went in, got a few beautiful plants, and a really pretty metal stand to put some of our plants on. Highly recommend Sunset Flowerland. Very clean and very beautiful plants!
