After many years of experience with fun and relaxed beach and garden weddings in New England and Myrtle Beach, Don and Kat have developed our own unique style of wedding ceremony and photography that nearly always results in wedding guests wishing they could do their wedding all over again. They see the magic and romance that can happen.
I would rob all the stars from the sky if it meant you would always be surrounded by love and happiness. And never once doubt the light in your heart, or the sparkle of stardust in your eyes. I've been joining LBGT couples for many years, and was offering commitment ceremonies back in the dark days before some of our lawmakers dragged themselves out of the stone age to get over it and let people love who they love!
If a couple is getting married in the state of Rhode Island they must both go together to a town hall to apply for a license. Once it is issued it is valid for 90 days. You will be able to get married immediately after obtaining your license. Make sure you contact the town hall where you plan to go in order to verify their requirements and hours they are open.
For many couples, getting married in the off-season (from November through March) offers many great advantages! Celebrate your winter wedding in Newport RI at great rates! Don & Kathy are some of the most genuine and caring people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. They were so accommodating, fun, and such a joy to be in their presence. Our living in New Hampshire I would have thought would havr made things a bit challenging especially with Covid-19. But Don was on it, and make it easy by sharing details via email, and hadbeverything we needed at a press of the button! They made our special day everything we dreamed of and so much more! Don and his wife Kathy were AMAZING!!!! My wife and myself recently got married this month and they were so amazingly accommodating, especially considering the COVID-19 pandemic. My wife and I could not have been happier with their services!!!! What I appreciated the most was that they were focused on ensuring that my wife and I were as stress free as possible and enjoyed our special day!!! Also, their photography skills are AMAZING!!!! Don and Kathy married us Labor Day weekend of 2020. We couldn't have been more happy with the ceremony and photography. Despite the pandemic, we were able to pull of a wonderful ceremony. Don even helped us in a pinch with the marriage license. You can't go wrong with Don and Kathy.

We were originally planning a large wedding and after all the stress decided to cancel the large wedding and have a small ceremony in Newport. Don and Kat were amazing to work with! They were always available to answer questions and made the whole process easy and stress free. Our ceremony was exactly what we wanted and the pictures were amazing, we actually got them ahead of schedule! I would highly recommend Don and Kat!!!

Don was amazing! We planned our elopement in 9 days, and were locked into specific timing. With no time to secure a venue, we decided to do an outdoor ceremony. Of course, it happened to be the *one* day with 25 MPH winds and sideways rain! Don was incredibly flexible, super laid back (he wore flip flops with his slacks, tie and rain jacket), and just went with the flow (we nixed the location Plans A and B and ended up "punting" with a Plan C that afternoon). Don Beach with Weddings from the Heart was recently hired to officiate our 25th Wedding Anniversary Destination Vow Renewal in Newport, Rhode Island. Though he was selected by our venue as part of an elopement package that we booked with them, we were very happy with the choice.
