I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been working with women and adolescent girls for about 11 years. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and am also a Registered Yoga Teacher. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy, mind/body integration and EMDR to not just relieve symptoms of anxiety but also to help empower clients to identify and understand the root cause of what is going on.
For your convenience, Jamie White Counseling is pleased to offer therapy sessions at either the Golden office or at a park or walking trail. Walk & Talk therapy sessions are the same content as office sessions but the session is held at an agreed upon walking trail or park. This is ideal for clients who prefer to move while processing.
After registering you will receive a confirmation email with information about how to join the meeting. Anxiety can manifest as constantly running "what if" scenarios through your mind all the time, panic attacks, feeling irritable or on edge, worrying, sleep problem, having a sense of being "on guard" all the time, trouble falling or staying asleep, among other things.
