Services
Sayuri emigrated from Japan to New York City in 1998 to attend beauty school. She went on to work as a hairstylist in Shanghai, on a cruise ship, and in London before returning to NYC in 2010. Her next stop was Hawaii, where she worked for several years before landing in Beverly Hills, which she has called home since 2016.
Japanese Head Spa draws from Ayurvedic Head Massage, over 3,000 years old holistic treatment originated during the Vedic culture in India. Ayurvedic is part of the comprehensive Ayurveda (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge) medicine that is considered one of the world's oldest comprehensive holistic treatment for the whole body.

Absolutely life changing. I've been searching for a place that does scalp massages after going to a salon where the hairdresser washes your hair- it felt great but I didn't know how to go and ask a salon to do the same thing without me actually getting my hair done.

I recently had a medical procedure and needed some help to sleep better, so I decided to try headspa and I'm 100% confident it was a right call.
My head now feels like 50% lighter than before and even my body and face feels/looks better!!!
I told my husband who used computer for work all day to go to this place because I can tell it will be great for someone like him!
If you are deciding to try or not, just do it. You won't regret.

I've always loved a good scalp massage and wasn't able to find it anywhere that offers a descent one in the States. I was in town for a surgery and was experiencing post op insomnia and headache, Sayuri was so sweet and spent a good amount of time loosen up my shoulders before the scalp massage. and oh my, the scalp massage! it was so relaxing that I think I even fell sleep for a few minutes. I felt like a different person after, my headache was gone and I slept like a baby that night. I had to book another appointment before I leave town!

I'm a huge fan of scalp massages and it's hard to find a place that will concentrate on that area for more than a few minutes and it's never long enough. I tried the scalp massage at Dry Bar but they didn't do a good job and the chair is uncomfortable. Not here! You are able to very comfortably lay down on a table and have your head in a bowl for the absolute best scalp massage ever. No matter how much time you book, you'll want the experience to last longer. Complimentary blow dry with first visit. Worth it!

I finally made it to Sayuri after saving her profile years ago. I had been receiving regular Shirodhara treatments back in NY for years and I wasn't able to find anyone in LA who performed this treatment which was a shocker. If you have never had Shirodhara before, I urge you to try it. It's like no other treatment and you will feel like a million bucks. Its an Ayurvedic treatment that uses warm oil that drips directly on your third eye and is also drizzled in your hair. Once the oil is fully poured on your head, you receive the most heavenly head massage that you never knew you needed

It was the absolute best!! I've always had a tender scalp and was concerned it might be inflamed. She examined my scalp with the microscope and we determined there was no irritation, just more a need for exfoliating and relaxing. She was absolutely lovely, I felt so safe the entire time and i feel like a million dollars. Will absolutely return and recommend to anyone

Amazing!! place is kinda confusing to find. girl will text u. great communication very personable. hard to get in now i know why. massage was amazing. very relaxing. u even get a blow out after. my hair never looked better. i like that she took a scope to my head to check out my scalp. even after i left she text me. very amazing. no one provides service like that anymore. they even have a punch card. ill be back.
