J & L Custom Upholstery is a family business. Upholstery work is a family tradition that has been passed down for 75 years from generation to generation. Along with our family, many of our other family members are also in the trade throughout the U.S. We offer same day service with no long waits or down times for you and your vehicle.
Lawrence Maroney came by our shop at two summers ago to have his 1972 Monte Carlo SS reupholstered. He wanted a fully customized interior from top to bottom, which included the dashboard to trunk done over in leather and suede. He also wanted his nickname embroidered in the car. Lawrence was a very polite and respectable man who was even friendlier with our grandson.
At J&l Custom Upholstery we do everything from mild to wild. The car on the left is 34 ford that has been completely re-done with a full custom interior, top and exterior. We fabricated our own custom top, door panels and even designed the trunk to match the rest of the car. We install leather kits, carpet kits, convertible tops (cloth & vinyl), Jeep tops and seat covers for all makes and models.
All of the work here at J & L, including our own custom motorcycle seats, is one off. You will not find service like this anywhere else, especially in today's world. When you have something done by us you can consider the piece custom. We carry a full line of leathers fabrics and exotics, along with gel padding for more durability on long rides as well as comfort.
We offer a full marine line of durable upholstery fabric's. All of our marine fabric is Coastguard approved and certified. Whether it is a brand new custom enclosure, replacing a plastic side curtain or just fixing old zippers, J&L can do it. We also offer marine carpeting for interior and exterior.

The team at J&L did a great job updating the upholstery in my 1974 International Scout, completing everything in just a few weeks. They took care of the entire process from finding the right materials and patterns to fabricating a clean design and quality finish. I was looking to keep with a retro 70's feel but also needed interior tough enough for an off-road truck. I'm extremely excited with the final product as this is just what i was looking for.

Okay I'm giving these people a five star they haven't physically done the work yet but so far conversation that I've had with the people the work that I've seen them do while I was present without standing so where am I top and glass come in and they actually do the work I will visit this and see what the rating is going to be so I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt

I would highly recommend j&l Auto upholstery for anyone interested in seating in their car. I can't say enough about the generosity in John's attempts to work on the seat in my car to make it comfortable enough for me to sit on. He worked laboriously to benefit my need. And, his perfectionism was greatly appreciated.
