Richard Ackerson is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who focuses on diagnosing and treating the hand and forearm. Dr. Chris Copeland is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in treating hips, knees, and the lower extremities, along with total joint replacement.
Dr. Scheffel is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Trauma Specialist. With an emphasis on shoulder, hip, knee, and sports-related injury, Dr. Scheffel's mission is to provide his patients not only his orthopedic experience, but use of cutting-edge techniques and evidence-based care.

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Dr. Ackerson has since lived in a wide variety of locations across the United States. Following graduation from college, prior to attending medical school, he served in the United States Marine Corps. After his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Colorado in Denver, he completed his Hand Surgery fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Striking a balance between knowledge and compassion, Dr. Christopher Copeland, D.O., is an orthopedic surgeon who values time spent with patients. Dr. Copeland understands the importance of listening, addressing concerns, and answering questions. He credits this care philosophy to his mentors, osteopathic training, and a long family history of physicians.
