Sundance Services operates the Parabo Disposal Facility, a first class, full-service oilfield waste disposal facility which has been in continuous operation since 1978. Conveniently located to provide dependable access to the entire Permian Basin, the Parabo facility is permitted by the New Mexico State Oil Conservation Division, and operates in full compliance with all Governmental regulations.

With the advancement of solids control technologies in recent years, drill sites are increasingly switching to the advantages of a closed loop system-the most desirable solution for drilling mud recycling and oilfield waste management. Closed loop systems (sometimes referred to as "closed mud" or "pitless" systems) not only greatly reduce or eliminate the discharge of toxic drilling wastes on site, they're more effective and cost efficient.
Furthermore, we have the ability to clean and recover oil from even the largest oil sludge pits and tanks. The disposal operation at the Parabo facility utilizes pits formed from the activities of the Wallach Concrete gravel mining plant at the location. These readily-available, naturally-lined pits, in conjunction with year-round sunshine and the dry climate of the area, make our facility ideally suited for handling your materials.
