I ordered a custom door back in September 2020, I am a builder by trade and my rep assured me that the Bayer built door I ordered would come to the specs that I signed off on. I come to paint the finish door and I realized the mortised hinges are on the wrong side of the door. a $2000 door messed up by some manufacturing employee. I told my sales rep and he said Bayer would turn it around fast. I come to find out that Bayer fell short on their promise and now have taken 3 weeks to get a new door due to supply issues. Well if my door was built correctly from the beginning you wouldnt be having supply

We purchased “solid” maple newel posts to install on our stairs. Once we received them they turned out to be veneer. I could have spent 1/3 of the money at a box store and got a better product. Since the posts are stained the local building supply company and Bayer Built won’t provide any discount or refund. The catalog doesn’t list anywhere that these posts are veneer. When I spoke to customer service, the first representative was surprised they were selling veneer and said, “those won’t last.” I agree. The second representative blamed us for buying them and said,”everyone builds

I have worked with Bayer Built for the past 16 years. I have their interior and exterior products thru my home. I work with them daily to help other homeowners get the look and quality they want. The wide selection lets everyone have their dream home. The knowledge they put into their people and products to make sure we are getting a quality product is a bonus. Bayer Built has a great marketing team to make sure that the end user can touch and feel and see the product they are going to be purchasing by giving samples or displays for dealers. This does not say that there will never be a defect along

We bought our 2nd exterior Bayer door in addition to 5 interior doors. These doors are expensive - you pay for what you get - right? Our exterior door is warping. The rep was just here and indicated that regardless of the fact we can see outside, it is within 1/16" being warped "enough" to warrant replacement. Additionally we were told we had to live with it for a year to "acclimate". I told him I will never buy another Bayer Built door.
