Faulty service and poor quality control. Came in to repair my cracked iPhone screen. Had the screen replaced, and 1.5 weeks later, before I went on a trip abroad, I took my phone out of my pocket to see only half the screen working. Dead pixels enveloped half the screen, split vertically. The phone was unusable.
I came back to Gadget Repair Pro, and there was no warranty whatsoever -- I would have to get the screen repaired again, for the same price as before. I ended up paying the $200 deductible on my phone insurance so I didn't have to deal with Gadget Pro anymore.

Gadget Repair Pro has been -- and will continue to be -- my 'go to' place for electronic repairs. Tyler was the staff member who consulted with me today about two problematic cell phones. He could have made a quick buck for his shop by doing the work that I thought needed to be done. Can not thank the employees at Gadget Repair Pro enough for fixing my phone! Currently in Ithaca on an internship & the end of my charger broke inside of my phone. Being far from home for weeks with no phone would've been awful! I went to the repair store inside the mall & was quoted $75 and told they would need my phone for three hours. Gadget Repair Pro (GRP) is my hero. About 24 hours before defending my dissertation, I spilled coffee on my laptop keyboard and the computer shut down. I started working on a backup laptop but I had so much precious precious data and PowerPoint slides that I knew I had to get it fixed ASAP. I explained my dire situation: I was willing to throw money at it to get the data extracted even if the machine was trashed in the process. It wasn't necessary because GRP cleaned the inside of my MacBook Air well enough that it worked again! I know this service usually takes ~48 hours but this was an emergency

This is a great shop, professional and friendly service. They fixed my screen for what I felt was a fair price and they talked through the issues with me beforehand so I knew exactly what I was paying for. They also make suggestions for products and accessories, even ones that they don't carry so that you can get them for a fair price rather than trying to sell you on everything they carry in-store. Brandon was super nice and fixed me right up. The shop even carries some basic supplies, which meant I didn't have to go elsewhere to purchase a new charging cable that I also needed.

I ordered a part for my phone, and was told that it would be in in a few days. A week passed and when I called they said it would be there in a few more days. Another week passed and I called, again, only to be told that it was back ordered and they would call me when it was in. I haven't heard from them since. This was two months ago.

Phone was repaired promptly and at a fair price, and a case was thrown in for free, which was awesome.. However..
Within a few days the glue they used to seal the screen to the phone came loose, and eventually cracked, way too easily. My screen is now attached by only a cord.
I'm going to AT&T, to pay the $200 deductible for a new phone, as the Pro Bros used a less-than quality screen/glass and glue, wasting $140..

Gadget repair pro was absolutely fantastic! The Mrs and I both had issues with our respective iPhones. As our contracts are up in a few months we were both hesitant on having to pay a lot for a fix. However, once we saw the price list, displayed prominently on the counter, our initial fears were allayed. So we hand over her phone and within minutes the batteries repaired. My phone was going to take a little bit longer, so before even charging us, they let us leave with my wife's repaired phone and told us they would call her as soon as mine was fixed.

I was visiting Cornell for the 150 year anniversary and my iPad Air accidentally got crunched by a car door. I saw the sign for this place when I was at Chipotle. I stopped in to see if they might be able to quickly repair my iPad in time for my flight the next day. They checked and had a screen in stock, and Alex had my iPad back to like new condition in about 40 minutes. The fix was about $200, which I think is around market rate. It felt like great value just to get my device working again so quickly...cool to see this place open in my old town!
