Our custom coatings and lamination's, meet the most stringent specifications for both commercial and military use, with acrylic, urethane, and other polymeric systems applied to a variety of natural synthetic substrates. TOP NOTCH(R) family consists of 100% solution dyed polyester fabrics, providing superior colorfastness along with superior strength, abrasion resistance, and dimensional stability. Products in the family include 11.5 ounce (Top Notch), 9 ounce (Top Notch 9), 6.5 ounce with a clear coating on one side (Top Notch 1S), and flame retardant (Top Notch FR) versions.

At Marlen Textiles, we pride ourselves on being able to handle the toughest jobs in custom coating. We have the ability to take a fabric and effectively put several different types of coating on it, including water repellency, dispersed pigments, flame retardants, and reflective material. Whether your fabric is dyed or not, we can work with it to meet your needs.
At Marlen Textiles, we pride ourselves on being able to handle the toughest laminating jobs. We have the ability to take a base fabric and marry it together with another substrate with a layer of adhesive in between both substrates. Also, we can take a base substrate and apply a coating to the fabric.
At Marlen Textiles, we pride ourselves on being able to batch most water based chemical mixes. We will keep your compound confidential and have the ability to test it for various properties, including color.
