In my mind, they are not a cab company but a "Car-Service." I travel weekly for business and they have never been late for a pick-up, whether from home or the airport. The Transporter ALWAYS has prompt, professional and courteous service. All of their vehicles are very clean AND they do NOT allow smoking.

Great customer service and communication! Utilized his services from the Wilmington airport to Bald Head for 10 people and he was awesome! Had him take our family from Bald Head to Airport and had medical issues and he tried to accommodate me the entire time even though it was touch and go and not specific times determined. He worked with me and helped to accommodate me the entire time even though he was very busy with other jobs. I have been using The Transporter for 15 years at least. I travel several times a month and during all those trips I have ALWAYS been able to count of them to be there when I need them. If my flight is late and I get back to Wilmington at 2am, 3am or whenever I always know someone will still be there waiting for me to take me home. There is no other taxi, transport service that comes close to the quality that The Transporter provides, year after year. They are the BEST!!!!!!

We've used The Transporter between our Wilmington home and ILM many times over the past few years. The service is super reliable, arriving right on time for pick-ups (even at 0430), and waiting at the curb at the airport when we return home. There's always a quick response to emails to confirm reservations. The drivers are friendly and safe, and the vehicles are clean and comfortable. Excellent service at reasonable prices. :)

Best in the business. I’m an extensive business traveler that uses the Transporter over 150 times a year 24/7 based on flight changes etc. Never late in over 500 trips. Most reasonable pricing and reliable drivers! Wilmington is fortunate to have The Transporter and their pride in Customer Service!

We have used The Transporter several times, and always with great success. Once a flight was canceled, causing us to spend the night in Charlotte, and still a car was waiting for us the next day. Each pick up has been on time, and every driver has been courteous. We recommend The Transporter unconditionally.

I am a frequent business traveler and The Transporter is my go-to transportation to Wilmington International Airport. The Transporter is always on time and very courteous in meeting my needs. They show a personal interest in me and do everything they can to make my trip as comfortable as possible. They have been flexible when I have been in a bind with a delayed or cancelled flight. They gave my wife and myself the same level of attention and service when we went on a recent personal trip. Great people to deal with!

My family and I have used The Transporter as our means of transportation from Wilmington airport to Deep Point Marina for almost 10 years. They are all incredibly kind, reliable, and accommodating. Richard and his team are amazing! My husband has early flights out of ILM airport and they are always early and deliver awesome customer service! You will be pleased and feel safe and secure. They're also there when he returns to get him home safely and they load and unload his bags to boot! 5 star service!!

We had a great experience around the time of the hurricane with this service. I was able to book it from my current home in Hawaii for my daughter to get from my NC home to the airport just before Florence hit. It really have me peace of mind knowing she was going to get there safely and be able to evacuate.

If your idea of being punctual is to have your car arrive a few minutes ahead of when you asked, and you appreciate clean. safe, and comfortable transportation at a reasonable price; you should try The Transporter. Our driver was Ray, and his courteous professionalism facilitated an ideal start and conclusion to our New Year's Eve Gala at Thalian Hall.

The early afternoon before my 6am flight to Wilmington North Carolina, I find out that my $100+ a night hotel doesn't offer shuttle service from the airport to the hotel!
Annoying right !! I googled "ILM taxi service", they were 3rd on the list; normally I'd call the one at the top of the list but something about their name "the NC transporter" got me to call them first.
Yes, I've seen too many movies with Jason Statham behind the wheel !
I was genuinely worried: T minus 15 hours and I'm in North Carolina. if these guys can't help it was going

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I traveled to North Carolina to have extensive dental surgery and I was so relieved to have reliable transportation. Shane & Richard were on time every time. They were friendly & professional and the vehicles were clean and maintained. Richard answered all of my emails promptly. Their rates are very reasonable & the service is just the best. I cannot say enough nice things about The NC Transporter service.
