Services
Realistic 3D hairlike strokes created with a manual handheld blade tool. This technique blends seamlessly with your existing hair and is most compatible with normal/dry skin. Can be applied on oily skin, but may have a shorter retention rate and strokes may not heal as crisp. Lasts 1-2 years depending on skin type and lifestyle.
Before Sway Brows, Tanny Diep was a Fashion Sales & Marketing Manager with a background in Design & Illustration. In an ever evolving industry, fashion demanded long hours in a fast-paced and deadline sensitive environment. Her passion for creative artistry and the desire for more flexible hours motivated her to seek out a new venture.
Beauty Angels Academy proudly honors our Touched by an Angel Program where we provide complimentary services for clients with Alopecia and/or are cancer survivors. For clients who have suffered extreme hair loss, our artists can help re-create their eyebrows and/ or darken their lash line with Microblading & Shading or Eyeliner techniques for permanent makeup.
Microblading is a form of permanent makeup that creates natural, beautiful eyebrows with a handheld microblade. It's perfect for people who have overplucked or those who want to define, darken or reshape their eyebrows. Technically, microblading is a form of eyebrow tattooing. However, unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists apply each hairstroke with a handheld microblade.
We'll examine your shape and ask you a few questions about your daily routine. You're welcome to to bring any brow inspiration photos you may have and we'll discuss your shape preferences and brow pigment color. Using our measuring tools, we'll custom design a brow outline that's best proportioned to your facial features.

Such a blessing to learn under Tanny, after many decision later, i am extremely grateful I chose Tanny to be my teacher. She's someone who was super easy to talk to , right off the bat you can already tell she have a very perky and positive personality. Took the basic microblade and shade course in San Diego with Tanny and it was amazing! she’s very thorough and knowledgeable. I chose this course because it really does prepare you massively compared to only 2 days courses that don’t provide real extensive knowledge. After years of research where to go for microblading/shading (yes…years!), I finally found the best/cleanest place and perfect artist I would trust to have my brows done, and that was Tanny D of Sway Brows. I had the pleasure of taking Tanny's (aka Sway's) Microblade & Shade and Powder Brow courses in person and I am so pleased I trusted my gut. I'm from NYC and had been considering changing careers, came across Tanny's work and I knew I had to fly to California. The quality of her work as well as her students are unmatched.

Awesome place. Artist V is amazing. She did my removal and then microshaded cover up my previous pmu. Definitely recommend them. She took her time to map out the brows and gave me what I wanted! Very friendly and the studio is super cute and clean. V's pressure throughout was so precise, I really appreciate that the most because you knew she was a master at her craft. Thank you so much! After researching where I wanted my brows done, i found sway brows . I knew she would do a good job because of her work but I was a little hesitant since I had little to no brows. Well , there was nothing to worry about. Tanny is amazing!!!! I am beyond happy. Not only was the experience awesome, Tanny was exceptional. I absolutely love my eyebrows. I highly recommend her. This is the place to go. I live 1.5 hours away and even if I had to drive longer, I would take the trip. That’s how much I love my brows!!! Thank you Tanny!!!!!

Got powder brows done by Caroline this morning and couldn't be happier! I was a little nervous but she reassured me and made me feel comfortable. She took her time to make sure that my brows were absolutely perfect and symmetrical. I'm very excited to see how they heal. She worked with me for my touch up date to make sure it wouldn't interfere with any plans I have in the future. I highly recommend Caroline and her amazing work!!

Years ago I had the best brows...then breast cancer, chemotherapy and radiation caused hair loss, my brows never grew back the same. Thanh is the BEST. I never knew how much better life could be with REALLY GOOD BROWS that you never have to touch up. Now, I literally worry about everything else in my life BUT my brows, and yet, I still get the most compliments on them! I believe in epigenetics and I sincerely believe that Thanh is one of those people born with hands coordinated for fine detail. I love Tanny! I looked everywhere for someone to trust with my brows, then stumbled upon her instagram @swaybrows. Immediately I was impressed with her work. Sorry, my review is waaay overdue! Thanh did my brows a few months ago and I couldn't be happier! I've had my brows done previously (by other artists) a few times and it was time to do it again. My previous brow work was OK, but not perfect. I also wanted slightly fuller brows. Thanh was able to go over the old work to create my new beautiful brows! Whether you are a Brow Virgin or Veteran, Thanh will make sure your brow shape is perfect for your face!

When all my friends were getting their eyebrows microbladed the past few years - I quietly speculated, but never felt compelled to book an appointment. After seeing Thanh's work, I reached out and made an appointment right away. It was one of the best decisions ever! The entire experience was great and my eyebrows turned out so natural and perfect. I had my brows microbladed over 3 years ago and desperately needed a refresh. A friend recommended Thanh and I'm so glad I went. There were parts of my brow were completely faded but the rest was a reddish brown. She chose the perfect color and was able to cover up the previous work. She took her time to make sure that my eyebrows were outlined perfectly before she started and explained everything she was doing. Altogether the process was as comfortable as it can be considering its a tattoo on my face . Thanh did an awesome job and I highly recommend her.

Thanh is amazing! I never knew how much microblading could do for my confidence until I got mine done. It also shortens my 'getting ready' time so much. I wake up and don't have to feel like I need to draw my brows in!

Love how my brows turned out! Tan took her time and did a really good job. You can tell she really cares about making her clients happy. Can't wait to go back for my touch up, then they will be even more perfect. Color retention is staying well and the healing process wasn't as itchy or peeling a lot like I've experienced on previous tattoos. I can really see the hairstrokes too.

The shop made me feel like a superstar with the amazing decor. Thanh was very bubbly and social. This made me calm and relaxed. Her playlist had me drifting in and out of sleep during the procedure. Getting my brows done by Thanh is one of the best decisions I've ever made!! I've always felt self-conscious about my barely there brows (they just stopped growing back years ago!). Makeup would melt off or get wiped away, mornings would always take forever if the brow makeup was uneven, etc.
BUT NOW... I feel so confident about my brows and love not having to apply brow makeup!! I always knew I could trust Thanh with her artistic skills. My brows look natural and are the perfect shape for me!
