I met Dr. Kunihara and his great staff on July 8, 2020. From the moment walking in the reception area, I was greeted by Theresa at the front desk with a very friendly greeting and her assistance reference insurance etc. Dr. K's dental staff did a great job of taking x-rays. They are always friendly and professional in how they conduct themselves. Dr. K stated the process for an implant for my front tooth and today removed the sutures. Dr. Kunihara definitely takes time with his patients in making sure everything is done perfectly. I'm very happy with the process so far

I Love Dr. Daniel Kunihira & Dr. Mark Kunihira. My most wonderful periodontics or dentist visit. They are extremely professional and skillful. They explained my dental conditions and the LANAP Lazer Treatment process in details. My first visit was amazing, Dr. Mark check my gum very gently and carefully. He noticed that my bite was off and fixed it right away. My second visit was as amazing, I feel so lucky to be treated my Dr. Daniel Kunihira. I did not feel any pain while getting numb, I did not feel the needle at all, his special numbing technique was the best! I was extremely comfortable

I have been a patient since 1988 and "love" Dr. Daniel Kunihira and his wonderful - amazing staff.
I recently decided to get crown lengthening and was a little anxious the day of the surgery. However, Dr. Mark K. was extremely patient and made sure I was definitely numb for this type of gum surgery. I was expecting pain after numbness wore off but fortunately it was just a bit uncomfortable for a few days. No real pain to speak of so it was a HUGE success. I love the outcome (my teeth now look bigger - no gummy smile)...and now I heal for 2 months and begin procedure to get 8 veneers

Speaking, not as a patient, but as one who sits waiting for a patient...I have observed the office staff at work and am greatly impressed! Everyone in the office is extremely patient, both, on the phone, and with patients and others in the waiting area. They are kind and gracious to everyone they have contact with!

Dr. Mark Kunihira is very friendly and caring. I just had surgery in his office last week. I felt nothing when he gave me the anesthetic. I am usually really nervous about that part.
I felt absolutely no pain throughout the dental procedure. He made sure of this before starting any treatment.
His assistant and staff were amazingly friendly. They made me feel comfortable.

Dr. KUNIHIRA DANIEAL are best Dentist I seen him for 4 years and all everyone in his office (Pam and Terresa and Nancy and Jonna are best assistant while you called and while you in surgery or gum treatment ). I do recommend anyone have gum problem to see Dr. DANEAL KUIHIRA . Also he have a veryh good heart

Going to this office is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The 3 top things I love about Dr. Kunihira's office:
1) Dr. Kunihira is excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all caring.
2) The office staff is amazing, they are all so friendly and helpful
3) I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The doctor is always on time.
I came to him with a missing tooth, and a history of 2 failed dental implants from a previous surgeon. He was confident that he could make it work, so I agreed to the 3rd procedure. He was very cautious with my surgery

I was referred to this clinic by Dentist Tia Dennis of hospitality Dental. I came in and told this dentist that, I just want my tooth pulled. He refused to listen to me and
Started ordering x-ray. I was in pain and just let it go. After the extraction, they clerk charged me $99 as my copay portion. Later they sent me a bill demanding additional $190 after they have collected another $235from my insurance. They charged me for 2 x-rays and almost $200 for examination. What examination? I just needed my tooth pulled. I could've gone anywhere in LA and pay less than $50 for this thing to be pulled

Dr Kunihara is simple the best! He is a master in his field. I have several surgeries at his office over the years and every time, you are greeted by staff that is warm, respectively professional and kind. Dr. Kunihara does everything he can to make you comfortable and without pain. He even called me personally after having surgery to make sure I was doing well!!! Highly recommend his office.

Fantastic office with the most friendly & courteous staff. I had my first gum grafting procedure done in November by Dr. Mark & he made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I was very nervous, but he explained what he was doing during the procedure & was very informative which helped me to stay as calm as possible. After the procedure I was given thorough post surgery instructions & was even called personally by Dr. Mark to ask how I was doing. All follow up appointments have been quick & easy. I've never been kept waiting or had any issues what so ever

Top notch customer service from receptionists to admin managers and the doctors. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Patient-first mindset. Thorough consultation was very satisfing. Came back for a perio surgery and after a month no pains or discomforts. Hope it stays like that. Always-smile from everyone is very comforting. Wish they were regular dentists too, not just the periodontists.
