My family and friends all just got home from the past week staying at Clear Valley Retreat. The house itself is beautiful and well done. The issues though stem from the rental company itself. The pictures show this cabin to be by itself with a nice view - Wrong its in a neighborhood with 6 other houses around you. Second they build a pergola for parking so you can only park 1 car under there. When we got inside we found out that was 1 roll of TP for each bathroom (we had 8 of us staying a week), 1 roll of paper towels, no extra trash bags besides the ones in the cans, all of the knives were dull

My wife and I were going to Gatlinburg this past October with my in-laws and had a reservation several months in advance. The owner of the place we had reserved decided to sell their condo. Heritage Cabin rentals let us know less than two weeks before our vacation ( mind you, this is a very busy season in the area). When they called to let us know , they offered no solutions. No other properties or condos were offered to us, no attempt to help us find a hotel or other accommodations. They basically said we were SOL and would have to look elsewhere. Worst experience ever, poor customer service.

Pros: Nice cabin, clean and pretty close to town. WiFi worked well. Never ran out of hot water.
Neutral: views were into the woods, not mountains
Cons: minimal towels, no washcloths, and while there were kitchen supplies, there is no way to cook for more 2 (micro pots and pans). Acoustics of the cabin were brutal! Impossible to hear the tv downstairs with people talking upstairs. The 24 hour "customer service" told me they would not bring us a roll of toilet paper when we ran out at 10 o'clock at night. I understand policies but seems a shame to lose hundreds of dollars of future
