I have always enjoyed music and entertaining people. Back in 1996, I started DJing for a radio station in Illinois and then I owned and operated a country dance club soon after. I realized that getting out and Djing weddings, company parties, school dances, and bars is where my services were needed.

Highly recommend! To start off he wasn’t always calling to get information. He called twice to get my songs and my timeline, the second time was to confirm those details and get anything I didn’t have the call… prior. As a bride that’s nice because you have so many other venders always calling you. The day of the wedding I didn’t have to do anything. Jeff and josh came in and set everything up and just started running with it. They were very interactive with the guests from the time they got there until they were walking out the door. Jeff was so great to work with. He kept everything so organized and was always very responsive which we loved. He was still so patient with me when I was only 1 month away from the wedding and still didn’t have every song picked out.. He made sure my wedding music was exactly what I wanted it to be. I worked with Jeff and Josh for a wedding reception a few nights ago and it was a great experience. They were super high energy and super fun to be around. When I met Jeff at a bridal expo- I knew instantly he was the perfect DJ for me. I requested him specifically and he obliged. Let me tell you... a bad DJ can really ruin an event or make an event take off. My October wedding reception was the happiest 4 hours I have ever had. He got everyone dancing through a clever conga line rouse- which everyone enjoyed, he timed everything perfectly, he was attentive to our wishes as well as really reading my crowd. Jeff from Shockwave was amazing to deal with. He is an incredibly nice guy and so easy to work with. He uses a client login area for you to put your music in before meeting with you to consult. He did a great job of keeping our guests entertained and we had so much fun. I am re-posting a review I wrote for Goofle on here, bc i feel it is important that as many people as possible need to know how truly unprofessional and rude this guy, Jeff, is. He continues to insult my friend for weeks after her wedding for a complaint she had at a wedding that he wasn't even at! He has also threatened that "posting false reviews could be bad for her"...that being said, THIS IS IN NO WAY A FALSE REVIEW. STAY AWAY! Can't say enough about Josh and Jeff at Shockwave. Not only were they able to fit in our wedding at the last minute when our other plan fell thru, they even threw in a little southern hospitality. They offered to help shuttle guests to the venue when we had few other options. Not that this is a standard service but it does illustrate the kind of guys they are. Jeff was great as MC while Josh kept the music going strong all nite. Had all high quality equipment and were always available for questions and even checked the venue the day before.
