We had a tree fall in the late evening. Mike came out that same evening to assess things and was back again the next morning to remove the tree. They were careful of the house, the landscaping, and everyone's safety. Very highly recommended!

They showed up right on time and immediately got to work. We had a total of four trees that need to come down and one of them was a huge Honey Locust - you know, the one with the thorns.(See pictures for the size of the trunk and imagine this HUGE tree over half of our roof.) Mike confirmed exactly what services we needed and then let his crew get on with it. Michael & Kenny worked hard, well as a team and were always making sure if the other one needed anything. I called two tree service companies this morning. One was Columbia Tree Works. I needed an estimate to have some tree limbs trimmed and cut back some brush and have it all removed. The owner, Mike Weil answered the phone on the first call and was over here within an hour. We came to terms on the price and he had his crew here two hours later and they were done within two hours.
I'm still waiting on the "other" company to call me back. I can't wait to tell them "never mind".

I called Mike last night after 6:00 pm. Not only did he answer, but he came out before dark to look at my needs. A tree had uprooted a bit and was gently leaning on a gutter. He came out this morning with 1 other person, who was excellent also, and took that tree down and did some other work he suggested. In the end, they did more work than initially planned and still charged the original quote! Mike does over-and-above-type work! He even made some calls for me to try and help with a leaky water pipe outdoors. WOW! Lots of good tree companies in Columbia, but I experienced the best with Mike.
