It all started when Bill Frey, found work as a lighting installer for a small lighting franchise in Atlanta after graduating from Clemson University. He discovered a passion for the technology and art form of building installations that creates a spectacular lighting experience for the viewer. This led him to develop a proprietary style of tree light wrapping.

We loved working with Illuminating Designs! The decision to add lights to our daughters wedding was late in our planning process. I called and they met me at the venue right away to help pull together our vision. The set up team lead by Andrew were so great! They made the process look easy. When the sun went down the venue was stunning! We got several complements from those that attended the wedding. Thank you so much ID!

Illuminating Design did a Great Job... 3 very experience young men put the light up...The lights were put up a couple of days before my event, so I really got a chance to enjoy the lights and really see the effects....I couldn't wait for the sun to go down and turn all the lights on everyone was just dancing, & talking. I could here people laughing and really having a good time... I turned on the lights and the crowd went crazzzzy🎉🎉🎉 I don't think anyone had looked up and saw the Cafe string lights...but once they came on the entire outside took on a beautiful glow...it reminded me of

Bill and the whole team at Illuminating Design were great to work with! From our initial consultation to the execution on the day of the event, everything went smoothly.
