Services
Our goal of your Better Hearing starts with a detailed personal history of symptoms and events that are pertinent to your hearing. Then a thorough hearing evaluation is conducted in a calibrated sound booth. Next, the results of all tests performed will be explained to you. You will be given some personalized educational material based on your audiological profile and test results.
You can trust the experts at Better Hearing Center to provide the highest standard of care for your patients. At Better Hearing Center your patient remains your patient and a comprehensive report is always supplied after referral. We have convenient hours and a central location with plenty of parking making it easy for your patient to take advantage of our services.
Cerumen, also known as earwax, is naturally produced by the glands in the ears to lubricate the ear canals and keep dust and debris from getting too far down in the ear canal. Cerumen typically clears itself from the ears, but in some instances can accumulate and cause a blockage, especially if you wear earmolds or hearing aids.
Tinnitus is defined as hearing a ringing, buzzing or whooshing noise that originate in the ear or the head and is typically only heard by the person experiencing the condition. Though tinnitus is usually not dangerous, it can be a symptom of another health problem or underlying condition.

Tinnitus can cause many stressful side effects, including fatigue, sleep problems, concentration difficulty, memory problems, depression, anxiety and irritability.Though it's not necessarily serious, it can negatively impact your quality of life. Tinnitus may have several underlying causes. Your doctor may begin investigating the condition by first finding out what kind of tinnitus you suffer from.
Sudden or prolonged exposure to noise can cause damage to your hearing and is one of the leading causes of hearing loss. Hearing loss from prolonged noise exposure is often detected too late, meaning the hearing loss is usually irreversible. Hearing protection is extremely important for anyone who is regularly in a high-noise environment, including target shooters, motorcyclists, pilots, musicians, construction workers and factory workers.

Margery is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Norton and Debbie are excellent. I usually see Dr. Norton but there’s been emergencies where I’ve seen Debbie and she’s just as friendly and helpful as Dr. Norton. They both take time to listen and are very knowledgeable when it comes to giving their patients 5-star service. ❤️

I LOVE Dr. Norton. I’ve taken hearing tests in Costco and even got fitted for hearing aids there, but I appreciate Dr. Norton’s methods more. He was extremely comprehensive, friendly, professional, encouraging, and relatable. I left feeling confident about my hearing loss - like I actually understood what was going on with me and my condition. I 100% recommend this place. The purchase of hearing aids is not pushed on you, but options are provided, should you want to purchase them.

About five years ago I experienced some head trauma in an accident that caused hearing loss. I was devastated to lose hearing at such a young age and frankly a little embarrassed about it. Dr. Ken Norton at Better Hearing Center put all of my worries to rest. He walked me through the entire process, showed me hearing aid options and swapped stories with me about his own hearing loss. Dr. Norton spends a great deal of time with me twice a year, Answers all of my questions, and he and his office staff are always open and available in between visits. I have referred two of my closest friends and my

Unlike so many hearing aid retailers who are only interested in making a sale, Dr. Ken Norton actually cares about his clients' hearing and helping them choose only the products that are right for them. He is extraordinarily well-trained, thoughtful and thorough, provides excellent service, and willing to spend whatever time it takes to do right by the customer. This is not a business for him, it is his life's work and he treats both the customer and the process with the respect they deserve. Thank you Dr. Norton for helping two members of our family be able re-join conversations with confidence

You can buy okay hearing aids here but, you can't get them programmed the way you want. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for hearing aids. You'll be glad you did. Staff is very rude and will not help you unless they can make money. Never again!!

They gave superb care to my late father's hearing needs. And they are taking superb care of me too. I couldn't ask for better care! I refer everyone I know looking for hearing care to Better Hearing.

Instead of belittling those who walk in, educate them instead. Not such a great work place either unless you don't mind getting yelled at in front of patients on the daily. There is no training and you're just thrown in and expected to know everything. One thing I would suggest to those who manage, be kinder in general.

I walked in and walked right back out. The staff was very unfriendly and the office waiting room was old and disguising. I would never go to a place like that for medical care.
