Dr Thomas Fox is absolutely the most thorough, attentive, skillful and kind doctor I've EVER dealt with for ANY type of health care need. I've had 2 knee scopes and replacements done before I moved here from Michigan. I believed the doctors there were great. But Dr Fox took patient care and concern to a whole new level. My shoulder replacement wound is considered "beautiful" by friends who work in health care industry. No bruising, oozing or redness. Dr Fox checked on me regularly by cell phone and actually drove to my pharmacy in Freeport to sort out a glitch the pharmacy made! He was determined

I have nothing but positive feelings about this practice. My young son ha da broken wrist. Their phone appointment line went out of their way to help me with a referral. Their staff was really friendly and patient with my gaggle of children. We saw Russell White and I really appreciated his friendly bedside manner, explanation, and knowledge. I would definitely recommend them based on our three appointments there! :)

Dr Dan Buchan is the best orthopedic physician ever. He's young enough to be knowledgeable of the latest procedures, but old enough to have the experience necessary to recognize potential complications and the best courses of action. Lastly, Dr Buchan strikes the perfect balance with compassion when someone's hurting, and yet encouraging patients to face what's necessary for healing and a return to full health. May the Lord continue to use Dan Buchan and Bluewater Orthopedics in their most valuable (and appreciated!) medical practice.

I had an injection of a new drug called Fluid Flow with the hopes of postponing my second knee replacement. Dr Buchan explained in detail and supplied me with a brochure about this product so I felt very comfortable having the injection. The doc did a great job; barely felt the needle and now I’m ready to go out and see how good this stuff is! Excited to get back to my active life with much less pain!!!

Dr. Fox replaced my right shoulder in 2016 and not only was I very satisfied with the entire experience; his staff and the hospital staff at Twin Cities Hospital were wonderful! Dr. Buchan and his PA David were very helpful with providing details in regard to my finger and the options for treatment. They made me feel comfortable and I'm glad my doctor referred me to Dr. B.
