This is a fantastic place to stop for a sandwich or taco salad. Plus it is right beside of The Blue Ridge Parkway. They also so have a antique shop & garden shop, with a lovely garden path.

Kind of a long wait for some sandwiches. Rather plain jane compared to the deli in Mt Airy. I would eat here again as it wasn't bad or negative....it just wasn't great. Good environment and friendly staff. Clean.

This place was amazing! The food was perfect. Fresh, not soggy, and every detail in place down to the toothpick with cheese and olive garnish. The patio gardens had gorgeous detail with fall flowering tree, moss on the water fountain and good shade. The bathrooms were clean and look recently remodeled. You can tell they care about every detail, yet they were patient with our loud squirmy kids. We stopped on a road trip and we were so glad we did. Fancy Gap has so much more meaning to us than the name now!
Oh and prices were more than reasonable. They should actually probably raise prices for the

I have now been here twice. I live about an hour away, but own some land close by. This place is phenomenal. The staff is nice and the food is really amazing. It is small. I think there are about 5 or 6 tables total inside and 4 outside on the patio. Either way, the Hot Momma, the Reuben, and the Monte Cristo are great. That is all I have tried so far. If you are lucky enough to get some of the Hummingbird Cake, then go for it. Love this place and will be back many more times to come. This is worth going out of your way to enjoy.

Our family stopped to eat here while driving along the blue ridge parkway. The restaurant itself is a bit small with only a handful of table inside. It’s a fast casual place, you walk up order at the counter and then they bring your food out.
They were very accommodating for my kids pickiness allowing them to sub things wherever I asked.
The food was great! Our wraps were not over sauced and everything tasted so wonderfully fresh! The food came out quickly. All the employees seemed super attentive and genuinely like great people who enjoyed their work.

It was delicious food and pretty fast service. The place is really cute, and right off the parkway and close to the interstate. Great stop.

This has all the potential to be fantastic! Quaint deli with very little indoor seating and several outdoor tables. The food all comes on a paper plates so don't get too excited now! We had a table of 6 of us. Our sandwich choices were all different, from the Rueben to a chicken salad, to a turkey/swiss/apple-cranberry relish in a wrap, each was good but uninspired. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come out. The southwestern soup would have been good if it had been served hot. We arrived at 2:15, lunch was served at 3. It was not busy. All that said, we had a pleasant visit, mostly because

Just a hop off the Parkway sits this absolute jewel. I am simply blown away by the not only the amazing food, but the warm welcome from the staff, and the inviting atmosphere. We had the Firecracker Sanwich on sourdough and the Turkey Gone Wild Wrap; both were beyond amazing. The apple cranberry chutney on the wrap is a perfect pairing. Basically, do yourself a favor and make this a stop for a bite to eat.
