Parris Claytor Balazs is the Founder, creative director, and lead planner of Eventfully Chic by Parris. She discovered her niche for event planning beginning in her teenage years and went on to obtain a four-year degree in psychology. After graduating college, she entered into the world of marketing where she was able to couple her admiration for the psychology field and her aspirations for professional event planning.
We provide special attention to each and every couple, are meticulous with planning and details, and our ultimate goal is to make sure your wedding day is nothing short of perfect! In order to reinforce this mission, we generally do not accept bookings for more than two weddings in a single month. As we all know, weddings can also get expensive.
Words cannot express how grateful I am that I was able to book Parris for our big day. From the time that we booked Parris last year, she has been nothing short of amazing. She is such a good listener and gives amazing advice. She is such a hard worker and I will never be able to thank her enough for all the thought and dedication she put into *both of our wedding ceremonies.

There are select moments in life that are meant to be lived in and not stressed about. Hiring Parris was hands down the best decision that was made for our wedding. From the very beginning she made me feel so comfortable and balanced, the lack of stress I felt was astonishing. Her etiquette and attention to detail was impeccable. Parris was incredibly responsive to every single one of our inquiries and went above and beyond our expectations. I initially thought that we didn't need a wedding planner, but work with Parris showed me there's a lot of things that I would have never thought about, and I'm glad we found her! If I could leave a million stars, I would. Parris did an absolutely incredible job assisting, setting up, & being there for us through the scaries of wedding planning & the big day. She is the most organized person I have ever met; calming, structured, kind, and she knows what she is doing. She is very responsive & on top of her game when it comes to finding your style, working with your budget, finding affordable vendors, and much more. She always had great recommendations & knew the perfect way to make it happen if something wasn't available or had to jump through hoops to get it. We are blown

My husband and I worked with Parris for day-of coordination of our wedding originally scheduled for May 23, 2020. Covid cancelled our plans and Parris was a wonderful source of expertise and support through that time. From helping us get our marriage license so we could still marry in the covid shutdown all the way to our May 1, 2021 "re-do" event she was organized, competent, and confident. We had significant issues and disorganization from our venue and Parris helped us navigate that in ways we wouldn't have even known we should do. Highly, highly recommend working with Parris

Parris helped me throw a wonderful baby shower for my friend in Irmo, SC while I was located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Parris helped me tremendously by finding leads for venues as well as vendors, locate items for the shower, and setup/breakdown the event. I would highly recommend using Parris for any event you are planning near and far!!

This was my first time as a photographer working with a wedding planner. Parris truly set the bar high! She is so incredibly organized and efficient. She even made some very creative suggestions for photos that I will carry on to my next weddings.
