Ben Pope has done my taxes for three years now. He and his team are fast and very thorough. He is great! Our taxes are super complex (owning/selling real estate in five states, personal consulting, and multiple W2s) but that didn't phase him. He even found a tax break that saved us thousands per year that we didn't know about!! Highly recommended.

Mr. Pope was knowledgeable, efficient, and responsive my with return. I had a year in which I had multiple positions and so I decided to do my taxes with a CPA instead of TurboTax and I will never look back. Now only did he do a much better job than I would have been able to do online, he also gave me pointers on things that I have missed for the past few years and how I can recoup those costs. I appreciate his expertise and will only use him in the future. Highly recommend!

My only regret about my experience is that I waited until this tax year to have it. They are all so down to earth and friendly here, and they genuinely love their jobs and want to help people. Benjamin gave me a more than fair price, and I was in and out pretty fast. If you’re pulling out your hair on the online sites like I was because you’re afraid of how much it’ll cost you to get your taxes done, just stop and find the money. It’s so beyond worth it.

I had to find another person to prepare my taxes this year because my last one i've gone to for years suddenly went MIA. It was easy to set up an appointment even in the midst of tax season. Both Ben and Benjamin were really efficient, friendly, and a great sense of humor. Would use them again and recommend them.

UPDATE: We, like many in Norfolk area, moved away this past year and have multiple states of income to deal with. Ben has been great in handling and has made the process pain free. Can't recommend Ben enough for having the experience to deal with difficult situations while remaining a small business with close and personal attention. The best of all worlds!

Benjamin and Ben Pope are absolutely awesome accountants. I called them when I was in a pinch with my tax situation since I run multiple businesses; they were able to accommodate the same afternoon. Oh and I forgot to mention that this is 10 days before taxes are due. They are very talented accountants, outstanding listeners, and were able to get me a significant refund in a tremendously quick manner. Ben Pope is a great CPA! I was 3 years behind on my taxes and scared that I would be going to jail! He got me straightened out in no time! Not only did I not end up in jail Ben found ways to get deduction I didn't know I could take and ended up only owing $500 instead of $5000. I highly recommend his expertise and easy going personality that made the process much less stressful!

We just recently moved to Norfolk in mid 2012 and I was in search of a good CPA/Financial person to do my taxes because quite honestly .. I hate doing them.
I didn't mind back when I could fill out a 1040 EZ but as soon as I started my own business, sitting with Mr. TurboTax became a really big hassle.
Last year, while perusing FaceBook, I happened to see a post from the owner of the doggie day care joint I take Dante to and she was raving about this accountant who did her taxes. Knowing that I would need to find one eventually, I quickly got Ben's number from her.
