Paradise Power Company (PPC Solar) is New Mexico and Southern Colorado's premier Solar Electric and Renewable Energy Installer. Founded in 1979 in Taos, New Mexico, PPC Solar has 40+ years of local presence and experience installing solar. Our expertise is in the development, design and installation of residential, commercial and utility photovoltaic systems, and we specialize in battery based PV systems.
PPC Solar's services don't stop at design & installation, we are here to provide long-term, local support for your system to ensure you get the most you can out of your investment. We sell solar pumps, but refer Dan Stewart with Highland Plumbing, & Dean Caldwell with DC Pumping for solar thermal, well or plumbing related tasks.
PPC Solar's Photovoltaic Donation Program has "solarized" several New Mexico non-profits with a turn-key 2 kW photovoltaic array. Contact us for a donation system application & criteria on how to apply. PPC Solar participates in many community events, to give back and connect with our local community.
Utility-scale solar installations generate power to be distributed to an electric utility company, which then disperses the generated electricity to residential and commercial customers connected to the grid. What a good bunch of professional, friendly folks. Their solutions to upgrading my very expensive solar system were top notch. Nathan and the office crew were very accommodating and had options for restoring my older systems without compromising performance at a very fair price. They replaced my 6 315 pound Rolls batteries with lighter versions in just a few hours and did it with smiles and a happy attitude.
