Owner Vu Nguyen is a husband and father of two beautiful children. He began experimenting with filmmaking and video editing in 2014, but has been involved with various visual art mediums since the age of 5. This includes studio art, drawing, painting, sculpting, and photography. Naturally, this translates to his creativity in cinematography.
He left his 10 year accounting career to pursue videography full-time, and has built a boutique wedding film brand that is known all over the world. Beyond being passionate about the artistry, he is also dedicated to bringing outstanding customer service to all clients. With nVu Films, you deal with a person, not a "company" or "corporation".

As a father of 2 beautiful children, I understand that every moment with them is cherished. I have witnessed my kids change to completely different human beings week to week since they were born. As a filmmaker, I have been blessed to capture each and every moment with them where many other families don't have that resource.
WHY IS RAW FOOTAGE NOT AN OPTION?. and what I recommend. IF somehow your computer is able to even play the raw video files, the video will look completely bland/flat. This is a full edit of the entire ceremony and reception which would cover any desire you would have for "RAW" footage. Travel that requires Flight and hotel: Client reimburses nVu Films airfare, hotel, and car rental expenses based on expense receipts.
Please do yourself a favor and hire nVu films. Trust me it will likely be your best decision for your wedding. Every night before bed, I watch our wedding film. It brings me so much joy. Every little detail in it makes me smile. I have lost count of the amount of times I have teared up watching this film.

I posted an early review based on my correspondence with Vu and his general professionalism. I wanted to take a moment to reiterate that hiring Vu and his team to film my wedding on July 14, 2018 was potentially the best decision I made entirely. He was on time, worked hard to make things creative and unique, and even had a "sneak peek" ready the… next day that was absolutely gorgeous. It allowed us to re-live the magic of the day while it was still glowing and fresh in our minds. I would absolutely hire him again, and I am certain that others will feel the same way after working with him

Honestly, there is no better choice. Vu and Kin went ABOVE AND BEYOND to capture the best of our wedding day and then highlight it in such a personal and beautiful way. It's like they've known us for years! Vu could tell what was important to us and he pays attention to even the smallest of important details. I would recommend nVu films over and over again. It's just a no brainer.

NVu Films truly has no equal when it comes to professional wedding cinematography. We first contacted Vu about 6 months before our wedding after having searched many DC area videographers.
