Welcome to Readfield Meats and Deli, a family owned and operated butcher shop and delicatessen in the Brazos Valley since 1960. Readfield's is home to award winning in-house smoked sausages, marinated fajitas and dried smoked jerkies. We carry Chairman's Reserve premium aged and prime grades of beef as well as a variety of meats and other grocery items.

Services
In 1960 John Ruffino and his wife Virginia opened the Readfield Meat Company in Bryan, Texas. They were from similar backgrounds; both came from Italian families who migrated to the Brazos River Valley to farm and raise livestock. By 1968 Readfield Meat Company was a neighborhood full-service butcher shop and deli.
All trays are made with the finest selection of meats and cheeses available. Trays include: Lean Cooked Ham, Smoked Turkey Breast, Hard Salami, Cheddar Cheese & Swiss Cheese. Meats and Cheeses are beautifully arranged and accented with Pickles & Olives. A variety of relishes that everyone can enjoy.
Readfield Meats & Deli has our very own delicious Spiral Sliced Ham. Choose from the original- Baked, Honey Glazed or Peppered. Any of the 3 are a great choice! Spiral sliced hams are easy to serve because they are pre-sliced. All you do is cut around the bone! This product is fully cooked and can be eaten cold, room temperature, or heated in the oven.
I probably didn't need to tell you to remove the steak from the freezer in order to thaw it. However, make sure that your frozen steak isn't wrapped in a million layers of plastic and paper. Conversely, make sure it is wrapped in something, so that you don't lose all of the juice as it thaws. Your best option is a Ziplock bag (preferably one that's already vacuum-sealed).
Thanks to TxBeef.org, this delicious Texas- Style Chili recipe has been floating around here and everyone loves it! We suggest you substitute ground beef or chili meat for the ground sirloin; it will be a little lighter on your budget, but not lighter on the taste. Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat; add oil.

Very nice options and looks like high quality. Used the Deer Processing. Though pricey for the base processing...(med size Mule Deer), I have high hopes for the steaks, bacon, etc.

They did a wonderful job on my deer sausage. I got the 60/40 jalapeño cheese smoked sausage. And it was packed with cheese and just the right amount of jalapeños. The flavor was great, too.

I called today and was told “please hold” without asking, then waited 5 mins, someone came on again to say “please hold” (as if I wasn’t already), waited another 3 mins, heard some beeping like someone pressing buttons, finally someone came on and I said “hello??” bc I could hear them! Then he sounded confused and asked if I was Jonathan Something (even tho I’m obviously a woman voice), I said “No, I just have a question!” He said “um, okay.” I asked if they had a product, he said he wasn’t sure. A great place to grab a sandwich or maybe chips and pimento cheese. I've got a coworker that is in love with the banana pudding.
Oh! And they are a butcher shop! I've never been disappointed with anything I've picked up there.
(Do yourself a favor - pick up one of their pies!)
Seriously, it's a great place, and they are more than just a butcher shop. They are hometown people and they will treat you right!

I am from south Louisiana and they make the best boudin you will find anywhere in this area.Its a rice dressing sausage. Microwave in oven for 2 minutes. Cut open and enjoy. Wrap in aluminium foil and put on grill till bust.Eat and enjoy. Lots of other food items here.Regular food stop.

My wife and I drove from New Weaverly Tx. We wanted to try the meats at Readfield meat market. We where tired of the meats from HEB. So we made a day of it heading to Bryan College station 110 minutes away from home. First of all let me start by saying the service was outstanding ! they went out of their way to accommodate all our desires and cuts of Meats!!! We got Pork chops, hamburger meat, Hot Italian sausage meat, and ribeye steak 🥩 cheese and pies too! We Waited to write this review on tell we were able to sample everything we bought about $200 Worth of meats. OMG!!!!!! Outstanding all

Unbelievable meats!!!! We drove all the way from Huntsville to try this place out and boy all I can say is we will never again buy our meats from the supermarket!! This meat market has the best quality meats we have ever eaten in our lives. We bought $200 worth of meats just to try. Ribeye steaks, pork chops, hot Italian sausages, oxtails, ground meats, some cheese and pies. Oh my goodness everything was absolutely delicious! The meats were tasty, fresh and overall amazing. Best burgers ever! Best steaks ever! Best pasta with Italian sausage ever! Everything was just great. Plus we received a 5

I have $900 worth of deer summer sausage the they made for me that I ordered 1/2 jalapeño and cheese and 1/2 regular. They did not mark any of it so it’s just a crap shoot as to which one you get as you can not tell with the red casing. I will not go back

I purchased a 5 lbs bone on prime rib roast for the 2018 holiday dinner. stuffed it with fresh garlic and salt and peppered the outside of it - put it in a 450^ oven for 27 minutes, turned the oven off kept it shut for 3 hours and it was the best ever.
