Rebecca Rueter received her first Reiki treatment in 1985 after breaking her foot. Later that summer, she did her First Degree Reiki training and began trading treatments with friends. After a few years, she was initiated into Second Degree Reiki. In 1988, she began the path of Reiki Master with Phyllis Lei Furumoto, Grand Master and Lineage Bearer of Usui Shiki Ryoho from 1982 to 2019.

Rebecca, a member of The Reiki Alliance since 1989, continues to study and learn from her teachers, peers, clients, family, and students on her path of mastery.
Services
Called the "practitioner's degree, " Second Degree training provides ways to deepen one's commitment to their Reiki practice. Students learn how to treat the inner soul and to send distance treatments. Private sessions are available for Second Degree practitioners also wishing to revitalize their Reiki practice.
Taking the weekend Reiki class gave me permission to reach towards a deeper, quieter place inside myself. Rebecca's teaching is clear, calm, and no-nonsense. In our fast-paced world, adding Reiki to my self-care tool kit has proved to be invaluable. Reiki is an important tool for me in managing chronic pain and the stress that can go with my chronic condition.
