All audiology and speech-language therapy services are open for in person services. We ask that patients review our clinic policies prior to coming in for information about face coverings, waiting room policy, and other safety measures. Sound Speech and Hearing Clinic is a private speech therapy and audiology clinic located in the Potrero Neighborhood of San Francisco.
Our speech language pathologists are highly skilled in providing assessments, consultations, and treatment services via Zoom, a HIPAA-compliant video communication platform. All you need is a phone, laptop, or computer with video/audio capabilities and a phone or internet connection. Prior to the assessment or treatment session, your clinician will share a link via Zoom that will bring you to their "room" for your reserved time.

Melissa Wilson Beer is the best! She is attentive, caring, understanding and sensitive to your situation and needs. She is professional and very knowledgeable. She has answered all of my questions and concerns. The office is professional, clean, safe, and comfortable. I would recommend Melissa to first timers and experienced to give her and the office a visit!

Dr. Beer and her team are always so welcoming, attentive, thoughtful, and quick to respond to questions via email or calls. I purchased my last hearing aid from them in 2015 and appreciated all of the support in the process. After 6 years of heavy wear I am ready to upgrade my hearing aid and of course will be going through the Sound clinic.

Dr. Melissa Wilson Beer was extremely, positive, informative and professional! She presented options for types of hearing aids and accessories for them. She also provided information on financial assistance to help me pay for new hearing aids. Her office was very pleasant, easy to find with plenty of parking nearby. It is also close to 2 bus lines. Dr Beer follows safe protocols for COVID-19. I highly recommend her!!!

I'd highly recommend Sound Speech and Hearing. Melissa Wilson Beer is an excellent doctor: she is especially great with my 6-year-old daughter (calming, patient, caring) and has provided top-notch service with real attention to detail.
