Husband and wife, Peter and Ann registered Touch Of Wood in the year 2000. Originally the company produced custom writing and desk instruments using wood and other exotic materials. When Touch Of Wood stopped manufacturing custom writing instruments in 2002, we closed our wood shop. We acquired laser engraving equipment and began offering laser engraving services.
We purchased Elite Engraving & Awards from retiring original founder Barry Stearns. With the merging of the two companies we are now able to offer a full range of engraving services and a wider range of products with the same quality and service both companies are known for.

Preparing your order is the most important step in the process. Please review the information in the ordering menu or contact us with your questions, prior to placing your order. The customer agrees to hold Touch Of Wood harmless for any damages, costs and expenses that arise under all laws as consequence of customer-provided Trademark, Service Mark, Copy mark or other materials undertaken by this agreement.
We can laser engrave your text, graphics, artwork, clip art, computer files and photographs, and just about any printed piece that will fit in a standard flat bed scanner. Maximum engraving area centered on the piece: 12" X 24" (Centered in the maximum 17" x 29" area). In order to provide you with the best result, please follow these instructions for your engraving order. Accurate and complete instructions are necessary to us so we may process your order. Send each turned, polished and finished barrel in a separate zip lock bag with a note indicating the text and font style for that barrel and whether it is the upper or lower barrel.

I needed to create a thoughtful custom favor for the bachelor party of my best friend. I'm a procrastinator, and Touch of Wood was able to accommodate me on fairly short notice. I went into the shop and met with co-owner Ann, who took great pains to make sure that my favor was perfectly realized. The service was immaculate, the prices were VERY reasonable, and I got what I needed in time to make the bachelor and all the groom's party very impressed with the results.
