Full-time and part-time residents can have their trash picked up weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or on-call. Vail Honeywagon services residential waste needs throughout the Vail Valley. Trash services within the Town of Vail, are regulated by the city. Per Town of Vail ordinances, your trash removal rate is determined by the size of your trash container, recycling is required and the size of your recycling can does not affect your trash rate.

Honey Wagon was great when it was locally owned. Now that WM Waste Management bought them their customer service is terrible long hold times voicemail only. I cancelled my service and have been waiting for my account refund and now they say it takes 4-6 weeks.

NOT THE SAME HONEYWAGON!! Every since the company was sold, THE SERVICE SUCKS. The billing and admin department are clueless. They blame me because they claim my emails are encrypted. Always an excuse. I put service on a vacation hold and then I get emails demanding money. I can never get a response. USE THE LOCAL COMPANY and not the carpetbaggers from out of town. I will miss the OLD RELIABLE VHW - this new group certainly bears no resemblance!

I have used Vail Honeywagon for many years. They are always on time professional in their services. Their customer service is kind and helpful. I have never had an issue. They even work with us when we have missed the trash in the morning. I would highly recommend them.

Honeywagon is so friendly to work with, from their customer service team to their drivers, I am always left with a smile. I had hiccup with my bill and Cortney wrapped things up for me and helped me understand my recycling schedule along with what can and cannot be recycled

I have used Vail Honeywagon for years. Their new calendar/website did not have my recycle days listed due to a glitch in IT coding. Jennifer was extremely pleasant and responsive to my request for correcting the problem and even sent me a pdf of the new schedule while she is working out the glitch with their IT people. She gets 5 stars, and I gave 4 to the company since I left a telephone request on same issue and hadn't heard back in 48 hours which is less than optimal. I think VH is a fine company in general.

It would just be nice if they actually picked up the trash and recycling that we pay them to pick up. I've had to call them at least 50 times since we moved here because they don't pick it up and then charge us. The best is when their excuse is that the driver "forgot" to pick it up. In the beginning, they told us that "he didn't pick it up because he had the route memorized and you are new." That no excuse. For such an expensive area with expensive services, one would think they would be more professional and give less sad excuses.

Horrible company practices. We cancelled our service to go with a less expensive and locally owned company. They proceeded to steal out trash cans that we purchased and refused to return them. Then wouldn’t provide our HOA historical invoices showing the payment of multiple trash cans at $250ea. We are filing a police report for stolen personal property as they are unwilling to work with us.

Completely incompetent drivers and customer service. They’ve missed WEEKS of dumpster service on multiple occasions, in good weather. They don’t repair dumpster damaged by Bears quickly so we have a Bear coming by almost daily getting into the full, unlocked/broken dumpster. Called these clowns 10+ times and while they tell you what you want to hear, they do not follow through. Overall they’re GARBAGE at garbage.
