Ivan is an excellent electrician. We retained High End Electric after buying our first home to address electrical issues identified during the home inspection. Ivan provided excellent service and took the time to explain what he was doing along the way. He gave me a complete breakdown on items that could be addressed, and then personalized the work estimate to focus on what was necessary to upgrade at the time. He communicated well during the work, and completed a panel upgrade and rewire at our house. The outcome was of excellent quality.

I decided to install a whole house fan, so a couple of weeks ago called High End Electric. Ivan Guzman (business owner) said he would order the fan, then set up the install date. He and his brother came out today, and did such a great job!! They covered the work areas, and draped off the area in the hall with plastic to keep the dust from blowing while they cut out the area for the ceiling vent. After they finished, they vacuumed the work areas, and left everything immaculate. Ivan explained how to use the fan, including giving me an Owner's Guide. I have been using this company for almost

Ivan and his team were so professional and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things. High End rewired our old home from the 1940's, put in a new panel, and installed recessed lighting. So it was a large project. They were incredibly organized, kept everything clean, and answered my many questions. Ivan helped explain what we needed and what we didn't need to make our home safer. We plan to do more projects in the future and I know High End electric will be doing them.

We hired Ivan to replace our old Zinsco electrical panel after learning in the home inspection that these panels could lead to fire or electrical problems. We got several quotes and Ivan's stood out for being a fair price and for advising us about a potential issue with the inspection that another electrician did not mention.
Ivan was a great communicator and was willing to work with us to find a date for the replacement that was reduced the inconvenience of being without power while we're both working from home. I also really liked how he had a great relationship with the SMUD employees

Ivan is about the best you can hope for when it comes to hiring somebody off Yelp. I hired him to install a 14-50 electrical outlet so I could later mount a stage 2 charging station for my Volt. I can't speak to the electrical work, because I'm not qualified, but otherwise, Ivan communicated promptly over Yelp's messaging, gave a reasonable no-b.s. price right from the get-go, came on time, got straight to work, installed the electric charging station without an additional charge, and worked within the time frame estimate he gave. Ivan is the absolute best! We hired him to replace the panel and rewire our entire fab 40 home we had bought in March. He was 100% professional and helpful everyday he worked in our home. We weren't going to be living in the house until around August so we left a lockbox and a key for him. He armed and disarmed our alarm and did his job with no issues every day he worked. I just had my breaker panel replaced/upgraded by Ivan at High End Electric. I had an overall great experience. I initially contacted him through yelp for an estimate and he responded via yelp very quickly and was also able to come out to my home for an estimate very quickly. I got a few estimates and not only was his the lowest price but the final price was exactly the amount he estimated.
