Edward Choi, LAc., MTOM is the primary practitioner at Inland Empire Acupuncture & Herbs and is a California licensed acupuncturist. He holds a Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the prestigious Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Biology with emphasis in Physiology from University of California Davis.

If I could give more stars I would! Ed & Jo are the best!! I just wish the hours worked with my schedule. I soooooo miss going there!! Ed helped me so much with so many different ailments I had and really seemed to care about my well-being. Jo was also so so nice! Super cute & sweet. One of the best acupuncturist in town! Love the service, staff and professionalism this office serves to their patients.
They helped me relieve pain from headaches, before/after my two knee surgeries, and stress. This office helped me relieve these issues. I was optimistic at first but glad my orthopedic surgeon recommended them to me.

As a believer in acupuncture I was finally able to convince my health plan that I needed to have acupuncture to relieve my chronic leg pain. After 5 months I am so much better. I've had both Ed and Elisha work on me and it has been an interesting journey. Where we feel the pain is not necessarily the genesis of that pain and it has been enlightening to find the sources. Yesterday was my first visit to this establishment on the recommendation of VA healthcare. I didn't know what to expect since I've never experienced acupuncture so I was a bit nervous. Dr. Choi was very patient and thorough with his examination of me; I also came in with my 5 month old which wasn't a problem. He was very accommodating, answered all my questions with great elaborate explanations which made me feel at ease. Elisha is the BEST!! She is so caring and compassionate. She takes your issues seriously, discusses a treatment plan, and makes adjustments to the plan as needed. Like others I have nothing but good things to say about Ed, Joelle, and this practice. In his treatment Ed tries to assess all aspects of your health. Joelle went out of the way to accommodate my schedule, as well. This practice is calm, organized, and runs on-time. Also, you do not book more than one appointment at a time. About me: I sought acupuncture for reasons of fertility. In my 40s, I was finally at the stage where I both wanted to and could start a family. After 5 months of weekly treatments I got pregnant naturally, and I believe Ed's treatment really helped.

I have been comijg here for the past 2 months or so. I have been coming in for Sciatica pain. I go every week and my pain from when I srarted I have to say has drop at lrast 60%.
All their rooms are very clean and staff is really great definitely would recommend if you are in any pain.
For me Acupuncture has work better than massage therapist or chiropractor's.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Doctor Ed is amazing and caring. He is young and very knowledgeable his bedside manner is outstanding.
He has very gentle hands and is very clear on telling you everything that he is doing and he will answer all of your questions with ease. I feel like I'm at a spa and leave feeling like I had a massage. After my 1st appointment he text me to see how I was doing. To me the shows that he cares. His receptionist is a sweetheart and they are very organized. You never wait long at all. I will definitely recommend doctor Ed to anyone that is seeking acupuncture

Both Ed and Joelle are kind, caring, wonderful people. I've been coming almost weekly for a few months and I've gone from 10-12 migraines a month to one or two - manageable with over the counter meds.
Everything about my visits is pleasant. Always on time, the waiting room and office is extremely clean and thoughtfully appointed, and Joelle makes check in and out quick and easy. Ed is patient and present as he listens, asks good questions and seems to genuinely care for me and my well-being.

I just got home from my first appointment. I found this facility using Yelp. I'm trying acupuncture after having an MRI that revealed I have a condition with my spine that is not safe to continue chiropractic care. I have chronic pain in my neck and shoulder due to a damage nerve in my eye.

Beware it has been 2 different times to make an appointment. First time its was an emergency and wouldn't be available for a couple days before Thanksgiving and second I made an appointment in December and I was just advise by receptionist the acupuncturist will be on a medical leave starting Monday (12/4/17) until February 2018.

I've been going to to see Ed for about 4 months. He is really great; personable, engaging, answers all my questions about the session. The office always neat, clean and comfortable. I went in for general well being care, with a focus on jaw and upper back tension. Slowly but surely Ed has helped release the tension and pain. When I don't go for my sessions, my body notices! I would recommend Ed to anyone looking to explore acupuncture.

I was hesitant to begin treatment however my medical condition required to begin immediately as I was searching for a holistic approach instead of medicating. After a few sessions I noticed a difference with my health and would not go anywhere else for acupuncture. Ed and his wife who runs the front office are friendly, caring and professional. I have never believed in this because my dad always said it hurt and it didn't work, but I was running out of options. I hurt my shoulder at the gym and my Doctor said it was a pinched nerve and sore muscles, lets just say i was in pain and I had to take time off work, i work in accounting and I started to get shooting pains to my finger tips. I took my husband here to treat his Bells Palsy after reading Yelp reviews. From the moment you walk in you are at Peace. Dr. Choi greets you with a warm smile, guides you through his procedure every step of the way. He is very thorough and educated in the field of holistic medicine, I know more about this ugly condition just from 1 hour talking to him, then all these months of internet research. Wow, Ed is a VERY talented and capable acupuncturist. My wife came in with tenosynovitis (tendonitis of the thumb / forearm) with debilitating pain. He explained that after treatment it will feel sore, which it did - but the following day the pain was dramatically reduced --after just the first treatment!

I do want to give Ed my acupuncturist all 5 stars because I've been in few establishments due to my severe migraines but never had this professional and so detailed service where he explained everything he was going to do and why and what I should expect to feel,very knowledgeable and next day he followed up to see how I was feeling, now that's someone who really cares about what they do! I highly recommend Ed as an acupuncturist in this area. He was very informative, professional and a great listener. I admire his healing gifts and the fact that he is straightforward. You get in and out with the best sincerity & quality of work.
When the needles are inserted, they don't hurt. They're very tiny pinches so it's completely tolerable. I'd roughly estimate receiving 15-25 needles from my abdomen to my feet. You'll lay on a comfortable massage table for about 30 minutes with a heat lamp applied to your concerned area, used to relax the muscles.

My friend was under a lot of pain and had gone to he doctor's previously for the same aches and all they do is give him pain killers and send him home, this time around I offer him the idea of acupuncture and decided to make a few calls. Edward Choi immediately called us back and we were able to talk to him over the phone and make a appointment. he answered all our questions in a professional and friendly demeanor. You really have to come with an open mind. I compare this to meditating, some folks get it some DON'T. This guy is über passionate about what he does and has immense amount of knowledge. He takes the time and thoroughly explains himself and treatments. He is professional and very realistic with goals & outcomes.
I can not explain the "floating" effect and the sense of sleepiness during and after treatments. It's amazing! My pain is definitely subsiding after 2 treatments! Looking forward to my next session. My husband is also impressed & has made an appointment
