Golden State Herbs
Golden State Herbs, Inc. (GSH) is a domestic grower and processor of premium quality air-dried culinary herbs located in Southern California. In the 1950's, the Vince family began farming fresh vegetables in California for sale in the local produce markets. In 1980, they started Golden State Herbs and have been growing the highest quality herbs since.

In addition to our dehydration line, our GSH processing facility includes a proprietary custom mill - where sizing is done per our customers' specifications - and a heat treatment chamber for items that require a lower microbial load. The plant and all commodities are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
Services
Golden State Herbs has a large production treatment chamber for dry heat microbial reduction. The system can be used to gently heat our products while maintaining good color and flavor. We currently use this heat treatment for our ready-to-eat herb products. Dry heat treatment is the simplest and most economical method of microbial reduction and can greatly reduce APC, coliforms, yeast, and mold counts.
Golden State Herbs offers premium quality air-dried products in a variety of mesh sizes. Our products are grown without using harmful insecticides or chemicals and our products are Kosher Certified with the Orthodox Union. And because of the ideal growing conditions and soil in the Coachella Valley, the volatile oils and color of the herbs are much higher than any other products from around the world.

For that reason, we are committed to food safety and quality, and have implemented strict guidelines and standard operating procedures that enable us to be compliant with state and federal standards. We go to great lengths to assure premium quality products - from raw material to finished ingredients.
