Our company began as Bliss Roofing Company founded by Art Bliss in 1969 where his son, Don, worked as a loader, then a roofer learning the tricks of the trade. In 1985, Don purchased the roofing division and established Bliss Roofing, Inc.
In 1990, Bliss Roofing moved to our present location in Clackamas, Oregon. Our primary focus is residential roofing, providing an experienced staff to handle and coordinate almost any re-roofing or new construction project. We are a returning customer... Our 2nd project with Bliss (a complete tear off & replacement on our main home) was completed back on May-2021 but with work and life getting in the way I neglected to leave a comment of the outstanding work they did back then. I was very happy with crew in how they respected the property, by cleaning up after the project was complete - and the roof looked beautiful. There was delays in the progress due to weather but overall completed on schedule. Fast forward to December - the week before Christmas ....over the weekend before the heavy pouring winter rains started

The roofers were one of four we interviewed, and one of 6 that came recommended to repair a single hole in our roof caused by a fallen tree limb. We went with Bliss Roofing because they were the only ones who found two other holes in the roof and the leak on the porch overhang. The other companies missed those locations altogether. We knew bliss would be paying attention to detail, and thorough with the repairs because of this experience.
They made an appointment for us quite a ways out but given the ice storm did so much damage to roofs in Portland, we understood this could not be avoided. The

Bliss was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. I didn’t have a large job, just a couple of attic fans, which kept many companies from even wanting to look at the job. Bliss didn’t mind the smaller job and was prompt to come out (look at the job), get a quote back to me (which was a very fair price) and get me on the schedule to do the work. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend them enough!!!
