After graduating with a degree in film and video, I moved out to the Pacific Northwest. I worked for a few museums, started a nonprofit, and, when the cost of living became too high, I decided it was time to come back home. I'm Marc, and I'm founder of Buffalo Bike Tours. For the last 15 years, I've made my career in public history.
Earn your wings on this fresh Buffalo food tour with samples of Buffalo's best chicken wings. On this incredible journey, we'll dive deep into Buffalo's most fabled and famous dish. We'll sample several wings, including an infamous recipe prepared by Lina Brown-Young. Her father, John Young, was inventor of Buffalo's first chicken wings, which have been unavailable for 23 years.
On this tour, we'll learn about Buffalo's heavy hitters - from wild Erie Canal stories to the Pan American Exposition. We'll also hear about lesser-known stories, including Buffalo black history and labor unrest. Whether a first-time visitor or you've lived here your whole life, this tour will provide new appreciation for the city.
Some of Buffalo's best biking and most fascinating stories lie right outside its downtown core. On the Waterfront Ride tour, we'll explore the city's industrial history on Outer Harbor. We'll hear about forgotten canals and take nature trails through Buffalo's towering grain silos. Moreover, we'll see "old" and "new" Buffalo collide while seeing revitalization efforts.

I had a lovely time with Leanne as our tour guide! She serenaded us with a fun song at the beginning and end of the tour and had so much knowledge to share about Buffalo's roots. Bike tours are by far my favorite ways to get to know a city. Buffalo Bike tours did not disappoint and I would highly recommend you opt to rent your bike for another 24 hours so you can see more of Buffalo along the new bike infrastructure!

Enjoyed learning quite a bit about the history and architecture of downtown Buffalo along with enjoying some sunshine and family. Lots to learn from Leanne and she easily answered so many questions we threw at her.
Rode an enjoyable trail around the city and visited areas I had never been to before.
Felt safe riding along with the traffic and most drivers and pedestrians accommodated our novice group.

We did the Haunted Buffalo Bike tour on 10/23/2021 and it was great fun. The tour was well organized and provided us with an unique opportunity to see a lot of places and streets in Buffalo that we might not otherwise see . Along the way we were introduced to ghosts who shared the "Haunted History " of the city. The guides and the "ghosts" turned a bike tour into fun experience to meet people and learn some fascinating historical information. Highly reccommedned.

Buffalo bike tours is such a fun way to explore Buffalo and learn more about the city. I had a wonderful time on the tour and learned so much that made me love the city more. Our Buffalo Bike Tour was fabulous. We learned a great amount about the history and architecture of Buffalo. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, funny and shared all sorts of cool facts about the city. We rode through many neighborhoods and came away with a wonderful overview of the city. Next time we visit, we plan to do another tour with Buffalo Bike Tours. We highly recommend doing these tours if you are visiting Buffalo!

We booked the Buffalo Bike Tours Wing Tour for a group of Whitesville Central School Seniors as part of their Senior Trip Day Trip. From my first contact getting information about booking until the end of our tour Marc was a pleasure to work with. User Friendly, helpful in every respect - he helped us to craft a wonderful experience for our students. One of our students had never ridden a bike and Matthew (the tour guide in training) took this student under his wing and not only made him feel comfortable but also relieved any and all stress for all of us. Buffalo Bike Tours is another one of those little gems that seems to be a well hidden secret. Owner operator Mark Moscato will lead you on the most interesting tour in Buffalo and the most interesting way by bike.... bring your own or rent one from Mark. He has several tour routes he does. I have done 2 of them the "B" sides ride and a special fund raiser the Eastside Brewery and Bar tour. Both were fun and informative and I was born and raised in a Buffalo suburb and just find its history fascinating!
