Understanding the "why" is crucial in your recovery. At Kinetic Energy PT we take the time to research and explain your injury, anatomy and physiology in regards to your treatment plan. Manual therapy is a hands on approach to joint and soft tissue dysfunction for complete restoration of function and pain relief. In the state of Colorado, physical therapists are able to perform joint mobilization as well as manipulation as indicated with appropriate training. All of our therapists are educated and experienced in manual therapy techniques sharing a common philosophy in evidence based practice.
Blood Flow Restriction, or "BFR, " is a type of therapy that allows patients to increase muscle size and strength with lighter loads than traditional strength training. Our skilled physical therapists apply pressure to the patient's limb using an external device (similar to a blood pressure cuff) to limit oxygen supply to the muscle, which causes the body to switch from aerobic to anaerobic metabolism.
Real time ultrasound imaging allows you to see the deepest core muscles while training "motor control". These deep local muscles act as pelvic and spinal stabilizers through light compression as opposed to force and power generation performed by the larger global muscle group. Therefore, it is quality of movement, not power output that is visualized when training with RTUI.
The Kinesio Taping Method was founded by Dr. Kenzo Kase in 1979. It is a stretchy tape designed to support and stabilize muscles and joints without restricting the body's range of motion. It is used to successfully assist in treatment of a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, neurological and medical conditions including tendonitis, bursitis and lymphedema.

I went in for follow up on a hip replacement and although Mackenzie began on strengthening she was able to adapt to relieving the pain that I was having. The facility and the equipment that they have allows them to find and use what is necessary for the needs that I had. Their willingness to listen and adapt makes the overall experience successful and pleasant.

After working with Alek to restore normal function to my shoulder, I feel confident that I am able to undertake the outdoor activities I love - all of which are shoulder muscle/ rotator cuff intensive. I received rigorous training/ re-hab in a very fun setting. The therapists are all knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Kinetic Energy PT.

Mackenzie was great to get me back to normal activities after my rotator cuff/shoulder surgery. She took the time to understand my desired outcomes and developed a great program to get me back to pre-injury condition. Actually, better than pre-injury performance! The crew at Kinetic provided personalized one on one care. Thanks!!

The staff at Kinetic Energy had gone above and beyond in helping me get back on my feet. A leg and arm injury were preventing me from enjoying things I like and Alek at Kinetic Energy wasted no time getting to the causes of my ailments and prescribing exercises and various forms of therapy to help in my rehabilitation. After a few sessions with Alek I was good as new and could not be happier with the results. The staff are Kinetic Energy are friendly, knowledgeable, and got me up and running in no time. If you are in need of a physical therapist, this is the place to go!

I've been to Kinetic PT for two different injuries and the treatment was personalized and I felt like a valued customer. Alek is a great guy and I could tell that he really knew how to treat my injury. I've been to multiple different PT spots and I can say without a doubt that this is the best one of them all! I recommend this place to everyone!
