Dr. Miriam Ting graduated with a DMD (magna cum laude) from Kornberg School of Dentistry, Temple University, Philadelphia, and a BDS from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore. She completed a certificate in Advanced Periodontology and a MS in Craniofacial Biology at the University of Southern California.

If you're suffering from TMJ (temporo mandible joint) pain, then Dr. Ting and her amazing laser treatment will heal you quickly!
It's a relatively painless procedure, that only takes about 5 minutes.
I had 4 treatments and my pain is just about gone. It will still take about another month, on its own to completely heal but the laser treatments increased the heal time.

I have had issues with my teeth since I was a child. I'm currently 56 year old and had often thought that I would be happy if I could simply limp along with my existing teeth. My dentist recommended that I see a periodontist to treat receding gum lines and pockets around a number of teeth. I discovered Dr. Ting, and after reading her reviews, I knew that she was the right periodontist for me. I was very nervous to have to have oral surgery due to some bad dental experiences in my past. But I was helped with my anxiety at the start from dental assistant Susan who made me feel understood and as comfortable as possible. Dr Ting's gentle caring manner reassured me from the get go. Even though dental surgery isn't exactly easy, I could not have been in better hands all the way around. If you border on being a petrified dental patient but know treatment is the best for you, Dr Ting is the professional you want. Trust me I understand fear. But it will all be OK. I arrived for my (first) 5:30PM appointment 20 minutes late and everyone was very welcoming and accommodative. I already knew I needed substantial work from visiting a few other specialist. Dr. Ting took a look and agreed. But she charged less. Because I wished to get the work done that day as it made more economical sense for me, they stayed that evening until 9:15 PM to accommodate my request. She even made sure I could get the antibiotic that night by helping

This was my first experience with Dr. Ting and I must say she is AMAZING! I had heard from a few people that their experience with different periodontists were horrible (because they used the older methods). But Dr. Ting uses the latest laser treatment and it was VIRTUALLY PAINLESS after the anesthetic. Both she and her staff made sure I was comfortable through every step of the way and they took the time to answer all my questions. Treatment of my entire mouth was achieved in less than 3 hours. The first night I only had mild discomfort and the next day I did not need any Tylenol.

Dr. Ting and her wonderful team at Think Oral Implants and Periodontics are absolutely amazing! They are all so friendly, helpful and so caring. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism, skill and warmth that I encountered in Dr. Ting’s office.
Dr. Ting is wonderful, I came to her with advanced gum problems, she took her time to explain everything to me. I had LANAP procedure done, it was painless, no cutting or stitching, and I was able to go back to work the next day, great improvements within just a week.
I highly recommend Dr. Ting to friends and family.

Dr. Ting is a highly competent and amazing doctor! I needed to address bone loss and gum issues and on my first visit, Dr. Ting examined in detail without any rush and then explained the Laser Periodontal Surgery procedure. She kept the process simple and explained the do's / don'ts and patiently responded to all my questions via text and emails prior to the procedure.
I have decided to go for the recommended procedure, and It has been a week now and I feel normal and gums are healing nicely. I will be returning to her for on-going care. Thankful to Dr. Ting and her staff for providing utmost

Think Perio is a great practice and Dr. Ting is incredible! I needed to have a surgery for gum recession. During my first consultation Dr. Ting examined the extent of the recession and then told me exactly how she planned to fix it. She also gave me an accurate idea of the cost of the procedure so I could budget accordingly. On the day of the procedure I was naturally nervous, since only a local numbing agent would be used. Though to my delight the worst part was the Novocaine shot into my gum. After that I was able to listen to music through earphones while Dr. Ting and her assistant worked. I
