Services
Alamo Springs Cafe is a beloved burger restaurant in Fredericksburg, Texas. Founded in 2006, our no-frills down-home food quickly drew the attention of burger lovers and weekend warriors looking for a meal off the beaten path. Our biggest claim to fame is the Texas Monthly "Cover Burger, " featured on the cover of its 2009 Best Burgers in Texas issue!
A full half-pound of ground beef on a jalapeo cheese bun topped with grilled onions, avocado, & green chiles. 1/2 lb of ground beef, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles on choice of bun: Sheila Partin sourdough, jalapeo cheese, or wheat. Consuming raw or undercooked shellfish, poultry, seafood, meat, or eggs may increase your risk of food-borne illness.
While a simple burger is a delicious proposition, their signature Cover Burger ain't that: a half-pound patty topped with pepper jack cheese, smothered in roasted chiles and grilled onions, a jalapao cheese sourdough bun, avocado, and finally, crowned with a fried egg. You know the sign of a good burger, when they have to put a steak knife in it just to hold it up.
Please message us immediately, as we want to extend hours for bat season and commence plans on our Top Secret "Moving Past This Darn Year" plan! The future is now! For the safety of our guests and employees, we continue to ask everyone at Alamo Springs Caf to wear a mask and follow social distancing recommendations when they visit us.

Where's the 10 star button? This place claims to have the best burger in Texas, and you'd be hard pressed to disagree with them! I had their Bucket List burger around 4pm today and I'm still full 5 hours later. But it's not just the food that's amazing its the atmosphere, more importantly the people! The owner Brian is hands down the most outwardly friendly person I've ever met and instantly made my family and I feel like we were part of his family. Fun uncle vibes, big time! Heck he even got my son ice cream. If I had to say one negative about this place its that it has completely killed my desire

Let me start by saying just like other restaurants at this time spring 2021 Alamo Springs is having trouble getting employees so seating is very limited and the menu has been reduced. We did have about an hour wait at 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday but it was worth it. The onion rings are amazing with a nice breading with tons of pepper. This place is famous for having a burger from Texas monthly's cover and it was work it so tasty. The jalapeno cheddar bun has a slight sweetness that really sets off the flavor of the hamburger patty.
