In 1977, J.D. Stanton founded a part-time business, J.D. Stanton Chimnologist that was well-need in today's communities. This family owned business has serviced many homeowners across the state by cleaning, maintaining, and inspecting chimneys, vents, fireplaces, wood stoves, and furnaces to reduce potentially dangerous issues and to ensure that the families were getting the warmth that they needed at a reasonable cost.
In 1979, J.D. Stanton and his wife, Lynn decided to pursue this venture full time. As time passed, their family grew to include 3 wonderful sons, Rodney, John, and Kevin. When they became of age, J.D. Stanton put his sons to work by living and breathing the chimney industry. In 1992, an unfortunate accident strained the family and those obligations made the Stanton's make a difficult decision and close their business.

This company is awesome. I had a company tell me I needed a lot of work done on my chimney. I called Daizy Sweeps so I could get an estimate from them for the work. Rodney came out, was very helpful, checked out all the issues we had previously been told we needed to get fixed and we found out that the other company had lied to us. Everything he checked he took pictures of and showed us the pictures as he explained them. If you want a company that is upfront and honest this is the company. I will definitely recommend them and continue to use them. Great job

I believe that the owner is knowledgeable. He was very glad to share photos of projects he had done that were unusual and challenging and turned out great in the end. Unfortunately, he did not give that same level of attention to my small project. The team arrived an hour late. They were courteous, but somewhat unprepared. There ended being a problem with the installation and Daisy Sweeps took no ownership for that and did not follow up to resolve it. I like the people, but I would not use them again. Also, I had other quotes at a better price, but the owner said that his quality was the best so

Incompetent. Has an unbelievable attitude towards his customers. I had to go to his wholesaler to find out that he did in fact use the wrong part. They offer 24 hr service but I was told today they just don't have time for that. I guess they are great to take your money but they will not stand behind their work with service even if it is warrenty work. I will never use them for anything ever again and I am actively searching for a chimney expert.
