Today was the first time I visited the Greenup IGA, I was very impressed with how clean the store was. I was in retail in the past as a manager, so I look at how well the store was stocked, merchandising, products, and staff. I was blown away by ever aspect of the business. They have a great team and they are doing a great job. I will now be doing my shopping here.

Being a visitor from another state, I felt really kind of "brushed off" --
There were only two females in the store working and neither of them said 'hello' or 'hi' or even acknowledged me (even at the register).
They continued to talk between themselves.. very rude for a very small town... No hospitality shown in even the tiniest amount... It's okay, I still bought my product and left....
I'm sure I won't be going back, unless it's vital to life.

For a small town, this place supplys the local people. They need to update management skills. I know it's small town, but they could probably do better. I understand "layed back" but this is rediculous sometimes. Nothing wrong with hiring young people. Every body needs to start somewhere, but management is responsible to stay with them until they can manage on their own, manage on their own, on their own, own. Management is RESPONSIBLE.
