DoubleDay Engineering donated over $190,000 of work to the city of Miami for the completion of a water main upgrade in the roads area. In order to get our two-story single family home project approved, our team was forced to increase the water main from a 2" pipe to an 8" pipe, producing a 400% increase in water pressure.

TREMENDOUS ABILITY!!!! These guys are phenomenal. They just delivered a HUGE win for us vs our insurance company - over $63,000 in a case which settled on their forensic investigation. Definitely not cheap, but are worth EVERY PENNY. They had two engineers come out and within minutes, they discovered a hairline crack which lead to a much bigger foundation issue. Long story short, the insurance company paid. These guys are ex-military guys and walk the walk. They have an activation fee, which we found very reasonable to come out to our property. But the results were immediate!

We basically hired a contractor that stole our money and lied to us. Claimed he had done structural work and when he removed the one wall, the roof almost caved in. We were terrified and looked for a structural engineering firm that could help our family in this time of crisis. We found DoubleDay Engineers and these guys came out to the house within an hour. Within 5 hours they had secured the roof and withing 3 days after that they had plans and structural calculations - which were approved by the building department, without any hiccups. ROCKS STARS. These guys are probably the best mid-size engineering firm in South Florida. From expedited engineering service, code violations, electrical design to hard core structural work, these guys deliver, every time. We hired them to complete the repair of a beam which had failed and they came in assessed the damage, created the scope of work, structural plans and had a crew repairing the beam in three weeks. Had the plans approved in ONE week! These guys are great!

We are an assisted living facility which is required to have a back up generator due to state law. DoubleDay came in sized the generator, our load demand, created plans and on the first run, had the plans approved. We are now installing a new backup generator and meet state code requirements. These guys are great at what they do. Thank you!
