Retired Army Major after 23 years of service. Married to my beautiful wife Melissa, we have three wonderful children ages 14, 10, and 3. Native of Indiana and currently live in Zionsville, Indiana. Financial planning became my second career after retirement through my passion to help people understand the importance of planning and preparing for their future.
Crown Haven believes knowledge is power, so we regularly host informational events that are open for all to attend. Each event has a unique concentration to focus on, with the hope that we offer all attendees great value, regardless of whether they choose to partner with us at Crown Haven. The Relationship Visit was very pleasant and professional from the time we walked into the office until we left.
Mr. Marx explained to us how the company worked for the customer and not the companies selling their services. He also spoke to my 15yr old grandson as an equal and answered his questions. He invited my grandson to come back
with me in the future.
During the Diagnostic Visit, Mr. Gordon Campbell explained the options available to me and how they differed.
He also answered all our questions.
The Proposal Visit was also professional and friendly. Mr Campbell went over each proposal

I would have done things differently if I knew then what I know now.
Insurance annuity products do offer a sense of security, but don’t expect to see the returns you are promised. These insurance companies don’t lose money. They offer huge commissions to the agents that sell them and they make sure you pay for those commissions when you sign their contract.
Some contracts have surrender penalties for as long as 15 years. They may offer an attractive participation rate of 120% while at the same time capping your earnings at 3.5%.
