Services
Our training center is equipped with all the tools you need to prepare yourself with the skills and knowledge to make you an asset to our trade and our contractors. We are a state registered apprenticeship program, as well as being certified through the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers.
If you possess the following qualities and are looking for a career that will maximize your potential, you just might have what it takes to become an ironworker. Would you like to earn a respectable wage while going to school to learn new skills and perhaps even a college degree?. If you're nodding your head "yes" to the questions above, we encourage you to contact your local iron workers union about apprenticeship training programs in your area.
What is Organizing? The common term for a group of workers looking to join a union is "Organizing." Workers organize for various reasons, be it to improve their working conditions, increase their pay or benefits, and/or to create a better working environment.

The American Promise is that if we go to school, work hard, and become a productive and faithful employee, we can then expect to support a family, raise and educate our children, enjoy a healthy and fulfilling life and retire with dignity. We weren't supposed to have to win the lottery, or be a corporate executive to enjoy the American dream.
It is agreed that the jurisdiction of work covered by this agreement is that provided for in the charter grant issued by the American Federation of Labor to the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers, it being understood that the claims are subject to trade agreements and final decisions of the AFL-CIO as well as the decisions rendered by the National Joint Board for the settlement of jurisdictional disputes, or any other successor boards.
Please review these statements and let us know as soon as possible if there is anything missing so that we can follow up with the contractors (or other locals for reciprocity) in a timely manner. It is your responsibility to be sure that the Pension and Annuity Beneficiary forms that are on file at the Fund Office are kept up-to-date.
