I've seen Dr. Carroll for years and he provides excellent service in all matters. He is practical and informative on orthotics in keeping one active. I also took my senior mother to him and he was excellent at caring for her and we were both pleased with the results and she had no pain afterwards. I can highly recommend Dr. Carroll as a medical professional.

Keep your receipt for payment. Twice, the office billed me for payments I had made at the time of the office visit. Luckily, I had paid each time with my credit card and could prove that I had done so. Later on I got a bill for a visit I had never made or been to. Apparently, they hope you will be sloppy with your book keeping and they can make a little extra $$.

I went for an office visit to check for a fungus on my toes. The wait was not bad. The visit was sub par. All he did was look at my toes and explained a whole bunch stuff that was not relevant to my visit. He did not wear gloves. He just mentioned a kerasal Nail ointment. You can buy it in the store.The visit cost $247.00 dollars before insurance. My total out of pocket is $110.77. Total rip off. He was very nice as well as the staff but, charged way too much. Do not recommend him for the price you pay.

His office is now near the train station in Old Saybrook, address: 455 Boston Post Road #8, Old Saybrook, CT 06475. After experiencing foot pain for a period of time, I made an appointment with Dr. Carroll. He did a thorough evaluation, including x-rays, and gave me the diagnosis of Morton's neuroma. I was impressed that he would take the time to actually draw a picture of the foot and explain exactly what was going on and the reason I was experiencing pain. His conservative treatment worked great, but he explained that injections or surgery could be considered if needed. Wearing a shoe insert
