About two years ago Lessler's installed motorized combination translucent and black out Hunter Douglas shades in our then new sun room. The installation went without a hitch and we like the shades and their performance.
Recently some of the batteries (Duracell - made in China) developed corrosion and one of the battery "wands" containers was destroyed. Lessler's was able to get Hunter Douglas to replace the wand at no charge. Because the design of the battery wand has been greatly improved making it far, far easier to replace the batteries I have asked them to order 5 more

We had Hunter Douglas shades and drapes installed in several rooms of our house. From the very beginning, when Terry patiently walked us through all the available options in styles, fabrics, colors, and motorizations to the installation process and warranty service, we've received fast and friendly attention from this company. I've never been happy with the blinds that were made and installed by Lessler's through my designer. The shades in the bedroom were incorrectly measured and are too narrow for the windows, allowing light at both lateral edges. They are difficult to operate and require repair of the obsolete cable and pin release mechanism frequently. They get stuck regularly and at times I've had to cover my windows with sheets or towels to block the light so that I can sleep while awaiting repairs.
In addition, the automatic shades in my office also require regular repair for issues such as failing

I had a very good experience with this company. My mother wanted the older style pinch pleated draperies that opens and closes with a rope type contraption, and they just arent easy to find anymore. Mr. Lessler himself came to measure. He was exactly on time. He was very polite and made sure my mother got exactly what she wanted. She is VERY finicky and picky so every time I need to have something done for her I just cringe knowing she is going to find something to complain about. The draperies came out beautifully. They took about as long as it was promised. The installer came when he said

I had many of my plantation shutters replaced with woven grass shades. Many of the windows have a unique design and Ron was able to provide excellent solutions and very accurate measurements. They were also very competitive in their pricing. I had a minor issue out of the warranty period yet Ron came out himself to repair the problem. I would definitely recommend their services to friends. As a side note I am very picky.

I guess it's not possible to leave a negative review. How these guys are still in business is beyond me. I contracted with Lessler's for thousands of dollars for automatic shades in my house. He took a very large deposit (which by the way, i found out is illegal) and never even finished the job. Not to mention he never returned $2000 of my money in which he never completed, but rather made up expenses that i had never agreed to.

Ron, Lindsey and the gang have been a Godsend. Always professional, responsive and patient. I had multiple bids out for our new house. We had over 30 openings that required shades. Quite a few were about 10'x6'. Our challenge was that we wanted sheer and blackout shading on each opening and that on our huge picture windows that the valence would be interior mounted with a slim profile as not to block our views. I called for an estimate a month ago, was told by the guy who came to my house that he'd calculate my estimate and get it to me within a week. Two weeks later, still nothing. So I called, got a great excuse about aforementioned guy being out sick for awhile, and promised I'd have the estimate within 48 hours- that I'm "on the priority list." That was last week, and guess who is now tired of waiting and will be taking my business elsewhere? Guess they don't want customers, considering the runaround I'm getting. The design help was fine and the selection of products good, and the installer was good. HOWEVER, the time to get the drapes for two windows is now 3 going on 4 months, and they have NEVER made a phone call to keep us up to date on the status. Also phone calls to them are rarely returned. And the blinds from Hunter Douglas (common mini blinds) took 2 months, ugh. I would not use them again on a bad bet.

Friendly staff but not very good service. got stood up once. took a long time to come back to fix their mistakes. our building used them to install all the blinds. and i wouldnt say it was that good for after installed service. if you want prompt service, this is not the one. their blinds kept getting broken often. and we just have to keep paying to get it fixed.
