My mom has been waiting 2 years to be approved for a hip replacement. She finally got approved and her last scheduling appointment was a month ago. It was up to Nebraska Total Care to push everything through after that appointment. One day before her surgery, the Dr. office still hadn’t heard anything from them so her surgery had to be cancelled. I’ve tried to call them numerous times and every time I get cut off after waiting for 20 minutes. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Ever since the new change, transportation has been nothing but issues and major stress.
Edit 1/18/2020:
I'd like to thank MTM for adding more and more unneeded/unwanted stress to my life. My mental health has gotten so much worse since they took over. I actually liked Intelliride for the simple fact that I could get a taxi within an hour and ½ by scheduling on their website. With MTM, you need 3 business days notice to get a ride. The picture I included, I scheduled 3 business days before the appointment and they STILL didnt approve it? That therapy appointment was desperately needed to calm

Nebraska Total Care is not a good source for insurance purposes. There are too many pre-approval processes for normal doctor care visits. I would advise Nebraska to choose another set of providers to provide insurance needs to their customers. Total Care is not a good source. I would not recommend them for renewal.

My niece is schizophrenic. She had been followed by the ACT Team. Nebraska Total Care removed the ACT Team. My niece then refused to take her meds. She spiraled down to the point that she is now hospitalized. It's all about money. Nebraska Total Care is to blame for my niece not receiving the support that she needs.

NTC refuses to assist San Francisco hospital with out of state ER claim. I have been calling both NTC and the hospital for 9 months. Both take my statement, neither makes the necessary phone call to take care of the problem, which is simply a Nebraska Medicaid ID# for the hospital. Simply a number. NTC says they cannot pay the claim without the ID #. They say they cannot force the hospital to give them the ID#. But they've made no effort to get one. I'm stuck with a bill for $635 that I cannot pay, because NTC refuses to assist the hospital.
