Missy never made me feel like yoga or the practice I was doing was all or nothing which helped when inevitably I would fall away from consistency at times. One of the biggest aha moments was when I strained my "groin" playing hockey.

We specialize in helping folks just like you to improve mobility, rehabilitate injuries, relieve chronic pain, and enhance somatic awareness with just 20-30 min of practice a day. Our trauma-informed Personalized Treatment Plans integrate holistic healing methods such as yoga therapy, breathwork (pranayama), joint mobility training, and movement therapy together in a comprehensive managed-care program.
When you get a bodywork session from The Body Intuitive, you are investing in receiving a session totally targeted to your unique needs preferences, and imbalances; and getting premium care from a trauma-informed, holistic practitioner invested in your long term well being. You can receive bodywork as a standalone service, or in combination with any other treatment (popular with the majority of our students!).
Despite the cultural emphasis on the sexualization of our human bodies, so many of us do not truly take the time to learn about, explore, and care for our sexual well-being. While you may be drawn toward holistic practices for your body (such as yoga), you may not have any specific "self-care practice" centered around your sexual health.

After my first session with Missy, I can tell she is amazing at what she does. She was able to correctly identify some imbalances I have that have been the cause of years of pain and discomfort. As well as providing care that alleviated the pain. She's very knowledgeable, kind, and thorough in her work. If you've been to physical therapy, doctor's offices, etc., without seeing results, I would highly recommend seeing Missy.

Missy is great at identifying the areas of my body that need strengthening or releasing and helping me work those muscles to improve my mobility and functionality. Her communication and scheduling are also makes things easy for me with my hectic schedule!

Healing space. Come with an open mind, as it’s not a typical yoga studio. Though the session I had included aspects of yoga - movement sequence tailored specifically to an injury I came to address. Major emphasis was placed on overall recovery, ability to fully relax, ground and let the healing take place. I really enjoyed guided meditation at the end. Also was given a lot of information on Ayurvedic medicine, self care practice, nutrition etc. That was very helpful.
The space itself is comforting, beautifully set up for one’s relaxation. Street parking was easy to find. Another great part
