Since 1998 we have been an exclusive grower for Ball Seed. Seedlings can be shipped using our own fleet of trucks, FedEx Freight, and FedEx Express Overnight.
We also specialize in growing a number of wholesale bedding crops, vegetative annuals, hanging baskets, and seasonal crops like mums and poinsettias. Wholesale finished crops can be shipped to your business on our fleet of trucks or picked up at our wholesale facilities in Mason, Pittsburgh, or Atlanta.

Prior to the Bob's Market we know in Mason, WV, the Barnitz family grew produce in the fertile land of Letart Falls, OH. It was there, as a child, that Bob first began to gain the knowledge and experience that would later grow into what we know today as Bob's Market and Greenhouses, Inc. Robert Barnitz and his wife Corena founded Bob's Market and Greenhouses, Inc.

Since the 1990s Bob's Market and Greenhouses, Inc. has been a seedling plug grower. Since that time we have grown over 1 billion seedlings! Ranked among the top 10 seedling growers in the United States, we have the expertise to make sure your plants get off to a great start. Surplus seedling plugs are just that, extra trays from our weekly production cycles.
Here at Bob's Market & Greenhouses, we are committed to creating an eco-friendly production process. Most of the plants that we sell at our markets are locally grown to reduce emissions during transport, but this is just one of several ways that we are striving to be good stewards of the earth. The soil we use to grow our plants isn't soil at all.
We employ a large seasonal workforce to grow the beautiful, high-quality plant products we all enjoy. We will accept applications at anytime. You might note, however, that most of our hiring takes place from December through January each year. Bring it to any one of our retail store locations or our main office located in Mason, WV.

NOT a Bee/Butterfly friendly Company!Spoke to owner of company to find out if they use Neonicotinoids pesticides (or others) on plants, flowers or vegetables. They use ALL pesticides that are approved, as needed. This includes the bee & butterfly killing pesticide(neonics). I do not use pesticides in my garden & truely believe they should be labeled. I have had numerous honeybee, bumblebee & butterflies die slow deaths on my property.
