I took the extensions Masterclass with Heather & Devonie. They were both attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate instructors. The way the class was structured made everything easier to grasp despite there being so much info! I know that despite my "Master certification" title I have much practice ahead of me. However this class was everything I hoped it would be and more!

I had the best experience in The hair shop! I never leave reviews but felt it necessary in this case! I worked with Zuri and she was so knowledgeable and kind! She made the process of buying my first extensions so enjoyable and I left knowing exactly how to apply them at home on my own and feeling that I got exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Zuri! My (former) stylist bought the 808 bodywave extensions there for my keratin extensions. They were tangling and matting non stop and I had to brush them every hour. Horrible quality. Not even sleeping in braids and adding tons of conditioner helped. I changed stylists and extension brands and no tangling whatsoever.

My daughter is 16 and having a lot of bad hair days. When she said she wanted a wig at first I thought it was nuts but I gradually came around to the idea and made an appointment to try on wigs at The Hair Shop. Zuri was lovely - polite, knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter had a lot of fun trying on different looks and we chose a wig that was affordable and well-made. The store had a nice variety of wigs and everyone there was friendly and helpful. My daughter looks great and is very happy with her early Christmas present.

Some really nice wigs here and the door guy is so nice, pity about the staff here. Not sure whether they are rude or just have IQs averaging 90.
I came in to buy a wig on Saturday. I was lucky to try a few on - the staff seemed super displeased though and I really didn't feel welcome. I liked two of the three I tried and I bought one.

I used to absolutely love the hair shoppe years ago. My go to place. Something happened. Honestly worst extensions I ever had I don't know why I keep coming back thinking it'll be different. Constant shedding, inconsistent product. Keratin bonds break down so fast on their itips. Never had this problem before. I just bought some more i tips and the ends are so unbelievably thin compared to the other ones I purchased here I don't know how it is considered the 18 inch length with only two tiny strands of hair reaching the actual length. My mother was scammed. She bought some extra hair extensions to add to her extensions she previously bought - she just wanted more for a thicker look & the lady accidentally gave her brown instead of black & she didn't notice til she got home. Next day she calls & they tell her to come in & they were going to exchange it. They tell her she's going to need to pay 12$. Lol excuse me what??? My mom had to pay for the employees mistake basically. It's not about the money... it's about the principle. Ridiculous!

Smfh! Went in there yesterday afternoon purchased some hair clip extensions, I have purchase before just give me the same color and length just 4 packages more please. everything went great. Got home to find out she gave me the wrong hair color, so I called this morning and they said yes come and we will gladly change them for u. So I go in today, and exchange them but they made me pay for the discount they gave me yesterday. it was only 12$ but it's was the principal. It wasn't my mistake. If I made the mistake, I get it but it wasn't me. she was like whatever. Like really!

The best hair extensions! This was my first time shopping for clip-in extensions and I had a great experience. I forgot the name of the sales associate who helped me but she took her time helping me to get the exact match for my hair. Horrible extensions. Paid $500 dollars. They shed like I can't believe! Daily hair loss where there will be nothing left soon. Purchased the loop brush from them and am as gentle as possible and the hair just keeps coming out. Hours after styling it if I run my fingers through the end....,hair still comes out. Been using extensions (Klix professional and luxury for princess) and these are by far the worst quality with this shedding issue.

I purchased my second set of extensions from the NY city store over the phone today. The most patient , helpful and knowledgeable woman named Jamie helped me through the entire process. I was unsure of the color and she offered me her best advice… Jamie is the reason I would come back to this shop to buy these hair extensions over and over and over again… not only are you getting a great product ~ you are getting 5 star treatment from the representatives of that shop. Jessica went above & beyond for me & made sure I received my package overnight. She more than made up for the FedEx error when it was no fault of the Hair Shop. I'm so grateful for her & her caring attitude & excellent customer service!!

Wow...I just had a very unpleasant experience shopping for my extensions. The little guy who "helped" me was extremely...EXTREMELY rude. I didn't catch his name but his hair looked like a skunk and he was not pleasant to work with. Acted like I was burdening his day by being there.

I can't really say for the hair just yet since I just purchased it today but I want to say that the customer service of the hair shop at this particular address was literally A-1. I didn't get his name but he literally help me so I'm figuring out what link to be good for me to literally color blending three different colors because my hairs dimensional he did an amazing job at helping me blend the colors as well as saving me a little bit of money and advising me to get 18 inches since my hairstylist was going to blend my hair and cut my hair either way. This is literally the best

I recently got tape in hair extensions from here and was initially having a terrible day dealing with nonsense and people who had been extremely condescending and rude and when I walked in the girls here were so kind. They offered insight and tons of help that was very genuine and not stuck up at all. They even recommended me a place to eat and showed me what she orders on the regular there. They didn’t over sell me hair and I would recommend them not only for the quality but for their service !

This location stereotypes!! Even if you have money and don't look a certain way they don't seem to want to help you. I went in for some 18" black tape ins the Asian lady was like are you sure?! Because they are 3o something a pack; I told so so....?
I end up leaving spending 415 on my extensions. I told my husband what had happened he told me I should've walked out and not purchased anything. Since they want to stereotype me & be rude!!

I have to agree that there are some staff that need customer service training especially the blonde lady. She doesn’t know how to greet nor does she make one feel comfortable. She is awful! However, Naomi is exceptional and the rest should take some customer service tips from her. Naomi is the only reason I continue to buy their products.

I drove all the way from Palm Springs to the Hollywood location to buy hair in person.
I called multiple times to make an appointment, and every time I had called they put me on hold for 20 minutes then would hang up on me.
After failed several attempts over a period of 2 hours trying to get ahold of somebody over the phone, I just showed up in person hoping they'd take my business.
When I showed up at the location, the Asian woman with grown out platinum blonde hair said they are taking appointments only and not allowing walk ins.
Obviously, I was livid because

STEVEN, you are amazing! Came here with my best friend about a week ago to look for some clip-in extensions. We were greeted by Steven, a sales associate. I told him what I'm looking for so he brought out my options. We clipped in a variety of extensions to see which worked best for my hair. He was so patient with me and I really enjoy that, especially when I have no clue what I'm buying. I ended up purchasing the more higher end clip ins because they're much thinner than the regular ones. My hair is extremely thin so I needed a set that I wouldn't have a problem blending in

I am forced to give one star in order to write a review, my preference would be to give none. On a recent trip to New York, I visited this shop having seen good reviews online. A medical condition has left me with a badly receding hairline and I truly hoped that The Hair Shop would provide a solution. On my first visit I was told that there was at least a 45 minute wait time (even though there were no other customers in the shop and four associates, three of whom were busy chatting to one another). There was no smile or greeting when I came into the shop and my request to book a future appointment
