Located in the heart of Chula Vista, we are a large family child care licensed to care for 14 children from infants to school age children.

Services
At Playtime Preschool, we keep our tuition rates low while giving you high quality child care. We offer full time child care throughout the year for infants to school age children. We also provide transportation to children attending Rosebank Elementary School and Saint Rose of Lima School. A one time registration fee of $40 is charged upon enrollment.
At Playtime Preschool, we are focused on providing quality child care that helps your child grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. We structure our day with a variety of learning opportunities that meet each child's individual goals while striving to create a balanced program that focuses on the whole child.
Barbara has been in the child care field for over 30 years and truly enjoys working with children. She has a passion for early childhood development and is very knowledgeable in child development. Elyse has a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working in the child care field for over 15 years.

My granddaughter will be graduating from Playtime Preschool. Miss Elise and Miss Barbara are the most awesome, caring teachers I have ever met. The instruction is so well balanced and covers a wide spectrum that makes for an awesome beginning to the public school system. We will be forever grateful to Playtime Preschool.

I highly recommend this preschool to anyone looking for a high quality and caring preschool. My children love going to school there and look forward to playing with their friends and learning new subjects. The teachers are amazing and are very loving to my children. My children have learned so much and my son was fully prepared for kindergarten. He graduated here knowing all his letters and letter sounds, numbers to 100, writing his name, and reading 20 sight words! Not to mention all the other skills he will need in Kindergarten. I feel very privileged that my children are able to attend this

My girls have been going to Playtime Preschool for a year and I could not have asked for a better experience. My four year old went in with little knowledge and now knows how to write her name and sight words. My two year old knows all of her colors, shapes and can point out ever letter in the alphabet. They helped potty train her, which literally took a week. I had to leave my husband and kids for 2 months for work and they sent me photos and explained to my babies that I was saving the world. They truly make you feel like family. It breaks my heart to move to another state because I wish my kids

Back in 2013, I was preparing for my return to work after having my first child. My husband found Playtime Preschool after driving by the school located on 2nd Ave in Chula Vista. He immediately called me after his first visit/tour of the school and confidently said "I found the right place for LL!" He suggested I have a look for myself - I went the next day.
My first observation was the warm, family feel amongst the close knit group of children enrolled and teachers, Ms. Elyse and Ms. Barbara. I was welcomed in and instantly felt comfortable. There are 2 spacious outdoor play areas

My daughter has been attending Playtime for about 2 years now. When she started, she was severely behind in her speech/comprehension, maturity and was not grasping the concept of potty training. Literally within weeks of being there we noticed a complete change for the better. Her pronunciation was so much more clear and she was understanding things much better. Needless to say she was also potty trained extremely fast and has continued to progress rapidly. My two beautiful kids have attended playtime preschool since my son was 1 year old, and my daughter 2. They are now 5 and 4. My daughter just graduated from preschool into kindergarten and she misses spending the whole day with them so much! She went into kindergarten completely prepared and ready to go -- she can write her first and last name, count to 100, and do simple addition problems, as well as beginning to sound out words and read!!

Playtime Preschool is the best you can get for a safe, caring, loving place for you child when you have to be away. Barbara and Elyse make the best team. My daughter just graduated to Kinder and is far beyond ready. I would recommend bringing your child here to anyone. My daughter and I both miss them and it's only been 2 weeks!
